This is the first game, correct? I've never played them or anything but a friend recently suggested I read the book BioShock: Rapture. I figured I'd hate it since BioShock isn't a game I'd ever play (hence me watching this walkthrough instead, xD). But I actually really enjoyed the book! So...I'm a bit miffed as to this intro. You're kinda just thrown into the midst of things...

Bioshock is honestly the scariest game i ever played

I'm that kind of guy who can play dead space or amnesia without flinching but Bioshock has such an amazing atmosphere

@L80616 I'm the opposite, a game like Amnesia or F.E.A.R. would leave me scared shitless, mainly because of the stuff popping out at you, since I don't handle that kind of thing well. The scariest thing I've seen in BioShock so far is the room in the game where you search a table and when you turn around there's a freaking doctor splicer right behind you. But I will agree, the atmosphere in this game is at least enough to creep you out and make you turn corners carefully.

@MarioFan124 Bioshock does have a creepy atmosphere but the game would have been more scarier if they limit some weapons and ammo. They make you feel like a tank sort of after the start of the game. This is how they made bioshock 2 less scary. Making you into a big daddy makes you feel kind of a tank! Even with only the drill

@MarioFan124 your right FEAR basically the first one was scary for me due to psychological moments, i think having that through a game scares me more than say a doom 3 with lots of monsters they only scare me in the first few levels but i get accustom to it but never accustom to FEAR moments.
