It’s a stretch to call this song hilarious. Is it even funny? All I see here are a couple of gimmicks (the two “F” words) and a lady who is hella cute (I guess that’s 3 gimmicks). @TheKelidoscope I live far away from Australia and I don't know if I laughed once during Crocodile Dundee. But it was a very good film and I saw it multiple times. The sequel wasn't very well done and I don't think I watched more than a half hour of it before moving on to something else. As far as this song goes, I don't think Australians have the market covered on humorous issues with their exes. This is universal. It's simply a great performance.

Many people "care" (you did ask and there are over 1.3 million views of this) because they can relate to it, it's worded very well and her delivery is excellent. For example. the use of "surprise." Yes, a cute girl cursing can be amusing but if the song was done well otherwise, that wouldn't matter.
