His tires are in noway supposed to be capable of doing anything close to this, The mountain passes maybe tighter, but their cars are alot lighter, agile, and set up to drift. Plus they are only going about 40-75 mph. This guy was going about 165-175 mph in this turn, with several other people surrounding him. So lets see a Japanese man do this with a NASCAR stock car, under the same circumstances. It would never happen.

It's one thing to do this in a video game, as I've done, and another to do it in a hot race car when you didn't realize you were about to need to prevent slamming into a wall in an unweildy race car.

This is terrific car control that you just don't see in most Cup drivers. It's no surprise someone with this skill can win at a very tough track like Indy. It's a shame the quality equipment he was in at this stage in his career.

Well this is his last year with Roush Racing because there cutting back and can only have 4 cars next year because of economy so they decided that this is his last year with that orginazation. But yea he should do drifting. I think when the had the event and the drifters taught the Nascar guy's how to drift Jamie was one of the drivers who they taught. Looks like it came in handy.

Good point except: they run small block engines on skinny tires, driving in ovals, and it takes an abundance of skill to drive them. But other than that... The thing with these F1 cars and Daytona Prototype type cars, is they are perfect handling race cars. How much skill does it take to drive a perfect handling race car? Nascar COTs handle like garbage, and it takes a lot of raw talent to muscle them around the track at full speed. ftw
