I think you make a lot of sense but you come down a little hard on women, especially in your conclusions. Yes when I try to think of a figure who has bettered humanity I will think of a man, but equally if I think of someone who has commited horrendous atrocities or made humanity regress in some way, I would also think of a man. I think one of the reasons you are seeing a backlash in the modern male psyche is because direct male methods of power projection (i.e. force) are socially unacceptable, whereas women's are not.

Women are also the weak link in human reproduction, and our instincts cause us to prioritise their safety. Sperm is abundant, wombs less so.
Also women tend to perform the safer gatherer role in contemporary hunter-gatherer societies.

I think you make a lot of sense but you come down a little hard on women, especially in your conclusions. Yes when I try to think of a figure who has bettered humanity I will think of a man, but equally if I think of someone who has commited horrendous atrocities or made humanity regress in some way, I would also think of a man. Yes women use the power available to them, in often evil ways...but until relatively recently men did the same. Women prefer to sit back and let MEN do. When I worked at Lowes this was ALAWAYS the case. If a MAJOR amount of work need to be accomplished or big problem needed to be solved I saw the same scenario play out. The guys would all get together to discuss the best way to get it done. The girls would wait around, contribute NOTHING and go along with whatever WE decided. Most of the time when they ATTEMPT to help they get in the way or DON'T follow instructions well.
