drones (mostly brown skinned) are there to build up the hive..warriors (like the blue one above) attack intruders or defend the hive and get new hosts for their breed (probably the drones too) of course warriors are way stronger and bigger then drones while preatorians (not seen in movies but in avp games) defend the queen they look a bit like her and are meant to be the strongest xenos besides predaliens..
