I'm not sure if I have Carpal Tunnel but my thumb keeps moving involuntarily, it started like a week ago, I do use computer a lot, but I've been using computers since I was like 12.. I just don't understand how all of sudden I'm having this problem.. I'm also on medication that i started since 2009 maybe it's the culprit?
Thanks for the video, I thought it will be like a joke by the way having those colored strings attached to your hand; but the presentation and explanation was delivered in more layman's term (which is the case for me). Great video indeed!
had the surgery and best thing I could have done, sorry that i was scared of the surgery and put it off for so long, fast surgery and quick recovery! no more problems.
Although the "sensation" of trouble is at the wrest, the actual “seminal” cause is impingement of the median nerve around the pronator teres muscle (proximal to the elbow)!
USA medicine is ranked 54th in world, (The World Health Organization ranked the countries of the world in terms of over all health performance, and the US (was) 37th; In fairness of care, USA is ranked 54th)
waaaaa, u made my stiuation even worse with that knowledge. I thought i had some carpal tunnel thingy but since you said that there cant be anything wrong with pink finger , and my pinky and wrist (only at pinky side )hurts alot all the time and dies when occasionally then this means i have like even worse disease.
Britons are actually Celts who lived up to the middle ages although the term British is commonly used to ascribe an association to those living in the UK.
Oh really? Well thank you for clearing that up for me! I'm Australian & have no British ancestry! But of course we are all British at heart eh? Even the French who were colonizing parts of Sydney along side the British... The Dutch who discovered Australia & named it New Holland & oh lets not forget about the original inhabitants who are after all the furthest thing from being Australian as they didn't come from British heritage. Australians are decedents of 'Britishers' as are Americans!
Thank you finally someone dumbed it down a little to where I could actually grasp the concept of what this is. Now im off to open up my own hand and get rid of the danm bridge.
This explanation was the best Ive seen by far. Ive seen many videos as mine Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is so bad Im having surgery. So thank you for a better look on how it is for my hand.

see that's the problem with overinflated patriotism that is so symptomatic among canadian italians too. quite frankly, it's redundant and ignorant. here's an equally ignorant retort: it's worthier to be a briton like this narrator than ever to be an italian. ergo, it is like telling einstein that he resembles a charlatan psychic in regard to E-MC2
thank you for the video! I am dealing with this very problem. It comes and goes in both hands. It hangs around for quite some time then leaves. I hate it!
37 years old and one day i just wake up with this...what a life ,im scared to go to sleep.

To Spe4kfr34ly,
The guy is Australian, not English or British!

There is nerve to the pinkie. It is called ulnar nerve.
micger 3 years ago
the ulnar nerve runs down the entire arm. It's called the ulnar nerve because it runs adjacent to the bone, called the ulna, in your arm.
noobspank 3 years ago
yeah I know that, I was just referring to the fact that he said there was no nerve going to the pinkie.
micger 3 years ago
That was excellent..beautifully explained. I have an EMG test tomorrow for a possible case of Carpel Tunnel. This video was very informative.
