Worship is the only thing that God can't create for himself, and it is the only thing that we can offer him that has real value to him. Faith is the currency of heaven, and Worship can't occur unless you have faith that God is!

Perhaps need is not the word, but God desires us to recognize his greatness. Worship is the only thing that God can't create for himself, and it is the only thing that we can offer him that has real value to him. Faith is the currency of heaven, and Worship can't occur unless you have faith that God is!

He is not prideful that he would need recognition from his creatures to fill his ego. And it seems highly plausible to me that if he wanted to he could create beings who worship him (pay honor and respect) the Angels in heaven where created by him and have never known anything but worship to God. @andrew2great because we as Christians are hated and will always be. evolution is another tool satan uses to mislead the masses. it does get old i've just learned to say look creation is a theory as is evolution that usually takes non believers back and then i can show the love of God to speak to them. no to me creation is truth but so is evolution to a non-believer. why fight over that small issue when there is much more at stake?

There is more proof for the resurrection of Jesus after his death on the cross than you can imagine. It takes years of research, but I'll save you the time. Look up Josh McDowell's book, "Evidence That Demands A Verdict". He's already done the work. If you have the intelligence and guts to wade through it, there's no way you can come to any other conclusion than the FACT that Jesus was crucified, buried in the tomb, and rose again. Seriously, I challenge you. PROVE ME WRONG! You can't do it.!

The real problem is that people make up excuses for why they don't want to deal with God, Jehovah, Lord of Creation, or his Son, Jesus Christ, Savior of the World. "The Bible is full of Myths" or "It's just a bunch of stories" or "It's historically/geographically inaccurate" or "If God loves people, why do bad things happen all the time" are just a few that come to mind. One thing you cannot deny: My Personal Experience/Relationship With God! Also, try to historically disprove the resurrection.

Look, the Bible came first. Every time some group or individual tries to prove that it is inaccurate on history and geography, they make a discovery that proves the Bible is right, not the other people. Historians generally dismissed the "Walls of Jericho" incident where the walls fell outward until they actually found the ruined city of Jericho and guess which way the walls had fallen? That's right, OUTWARD. That right there should be enough but it won't be for a lot of people.

I totally agree with you in that there has to be something, building blocks, matter...atoms, but I am a Christian who believes that God and science go hand in hand and I do believe in evolution and I do believe God is behind it.

@tjhands Nothing means nothing. You can believe that matter is eternal but the second law of thermodynamics casts some doubt on that. Science is simply discovering how things work and all Christians believe in science. We just don't come to the same conclusions as those who believe that God is not an acceptable answer. They claim to be open-minded but refuse to accept an eternal creator no matter where the evidence leads. Evolution is not a law, it's a theory, and a troubled one at that.

It is very interesting to know that doctors of medicine, bow down and worship our God, because they know that even medical science can't always help. They need the Fathers healing, to heal the patient. The human body functions and reproduce in away that it could not of just happened by chance. Why does the blood run through your veins? Why does your heart keep pumping? Why are you able to read this? Why are you able to deny God? Because he allows you too. He allows you to live, or die.

I suppose the sticking point in explaining to you how we can be in love with "something we don't even know exists", is that we fully believe in Christ and the sacrifice He made for humanity on the cross. When you know the love He has for you, believe me, there is little else you can do except feel humbled and fall deeply in love. It's the small thanks we give back for His everlasting love.

You have a completely logical way of thinking. There may be certain parts of Christianity that have been twisted or changed but thats what we have faith for. The Bible says that "Faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see."
I believe that a universe like ours, so mind boggling and which every detail works out so perfectly, couldn't possibly happen by chance. The whole concept of God is impossible to wrap our minds around.
