  • los mejores del ayer hoy ysiempre este grupo no tiene cno tendra comparacion

  • @ilikesex67 they are a band, OS a=famouse round the world .-.

  • @veralingal676933 He's joking.

  • @909afterone Oh i feel retarded now ._______.

  • @veralingal676933 We all have our moments.

  • @909afterone yeah, i have alot of those moments

  • another song well done by the Beatles!

  • This is from the "Complete BBC Sessions"... pirate thing... really beautiful

  • @ilikesex67 wtf :DD

  • some promise, but what' with that hair?

  • This must be the demo that got 'em refused by every label.

  • @lazur1 no. this is just from recordings of music they did in clubs like the Cavern Club of Liverpool and the Star Club in Hamburg. the Decca Audition tape didnt have this song on it.

  • @4FabBEATLES I was sort of joking actually. It certainly would've explained the rejections ;-)

  • its not rare.. its on youtube

  • @SidandSigala So if I put up a photo of a 3.14 carat Argyle pink diamond on youtube, it's not rare anymore? Amazing.

  • Haha best part is at :50, random Filipino dude!

  • @TrenchtownHero Haha The random Filipino guy is the video's uploader himself who is a huge fan on The Beatles.

  • @TrenchtownHero I thought the same thing xD

  • another great song destroyed by modern garbage

  • @ilikesex67

    agree...

  • Hearing the early unreleased stuff makes you wonder how on earth the Beatles managed to learn to sing and play in six months (say from Autumn '62 to Spring '63)

  • 1:21 picture of John and George in Hawaii. Interesting, I guess George loved his first stay there because later in his post Beatle days he owned a house there.

  • greatest version : )

  • Sorry ani't she sweet

  • this group sounds good with the old music They should sing ante she sweet or

    other old music

  • @ilikesex67 your kidding right? please tell me you knew who the beatles were XD

  • Wow. I've only heard this song sung in barbershop.... If only you can imagine what is going thru my mind.

  • Reminds me bit someother guy

  • y q tendra q ver el chino ese con los beatles(?)

  • @ilikesex67 umm its the beatles they r old most of them are dead already o-o

  • @animerose23 wtf?! HALF of em!!!

  • @adolder yeah but they arent a band anymore

  • I love how damn quirky the Beatles were, you sense here their nose for a great tune AND their sense of humour. I especially like when John starts singing along with Paul near the end, his voice always adds an intensity and edge. And Paul's bass playing knocks me out on the BBC stuff - he sounds like he's directing the whole band!

  • Bonnie 'Prince Billy' and Chyenne Mize have a duet with the exact same title and pretty similiar lyrics. Byrds style cover or a Beatles rip-off?

  • great!!!!

  • If this was slower, I don't think any of them except Paul would want to do it.

  • tht first lp pic i saw it nd was gonna get it put it looked fake the lp ,the words on it were all blurry, nd the cover was printed pretty wierd nd it was by VJ.. is it real?

  • @ilikesex67 Agreed. They need to get a white van with a cracked windshield and start touring. Work their way up from the bottom. Maybe even get a gig in a dive in Hamburg or some place like that. Then they have a chance to make something of themselves.

  • Never heard this one before!

  • @ilikesex67 ?? what are you talking about? lol this band broke up a loongg time ago. And 2 members unfortunately died..

  • Awesome!!! xD

  • Te quality of Paul's voice here reminds me of how he sounded in the Decca songs. Quite the singer!

  • Nothing is rare if its on youtube.

  • i love The Beatles!!!

  • oh gee, i like this!

  • esta cover es mas bonito

  • i luv this version : ] cheers

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh nadie interpretaba los covers como los beatles!!!!!!!!!!! vivan por siempre los fab four!!!!!!!!

  • i CANT FIND THAT OLD ALBUM....I THINK MY MOTHER THREW IT A WAY.....ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A COPY OF THIS SONG?

  • i USED TO LISTEN TO THIS i WAS 9 YEARS OLD AND i LOVED IT ......i STILL DO! HEY PETE YOU WERE THE ORIGINAL.....PICKED FIRST

  • Yeahhhnn... Great rock adaptation !!!

  • where di you get this recording? let me know... is this from bbc tapes?

  • 0:52 un virus intercepto el video ajuajajjaja

  • SHAAHAHAHAHA XD

  • ah como me gusta esta cancion me gusta por que en esos tiemposeran con coro eran chevere

lastima que ahora no se cante asi

  • I lol'd at the solo

  • @Noyore ...that's a cool solo : ]

  • I love Ringo's drumming.

  • hahaha people are retarded! me too or I would'nt be in here

  • Good version by the Fabs. Their talent is manifest here - they took a traditional and made it into their own.

  • Please, for the rest of us, GET OVER YOURSELF. You're not gods gift either.

  • You Donkey, tell me you were drunk when you wrote this stupid review and I will forgive you.

If not, you are either insane or a complete moron. This song was written by an American named Stephen Foster in 1862.

They may have laughed wile singing this, they were 18 years old and laughed at everything pompous like you.

  • this is why I come to youtube. love this stuff!

  • i like the beatles but i think they ruined this lovely bit of music

  • McCartneys voice is just so eager to let go all the time on this. I bet they were SO good at the peak of their Reeperbahn days.

  • @123jhouse The Beatles had each unique voices, thats what made them awesome

  • @123jhouse some of their Silver Beatles stuff is on youtube and they sound really good. They sounded more edgier, less poppy. Not that i dont like how they sounded in their albums but they were pretty good before they hit the big time.

  • @123jhouse

you don't have their hamburg star club tapes from silvester 62?

    their last hamburg nights?

i think from their career stage performances their 63 stockholm radio concert is the best in showing their sheer live power, it's complete on anthology 1.

  • It's so epic to hear the world's greatest band sing this greatest composition by Foster! :{D

  • Cool cover! The Beatles :D

  • My Great-Grandmother's and Great-Grandfather's favorite song. He passed away long before I was born when Grams was only 42. She lived to the ripe old age of 93. Great lady!

  • u got to luv the BEATLES :o]

  • great post man- keep on keepin on...

  • Does anyone know when this was recorded?

  • i think around 61', 62' but i think it originally was written in the 1800's no joke.

  • a fresh maccaroon and a new beatles tune!! my day is made

  • neat..didn't know this even existed. Though Mr E went to great lengths to destoy all pics & recs that were < perfect!

  • ahhh oh nononono this version sucks!!! u cant sing it tht fast ah god this is just a head ache. bing cosby or even drake and josh version is better. omg this sucks. i expected better from the beatles

  • you need to shut up, the beatles are the greatest!!! and plus they broke up in 1970

  • Oh I just went and saw these guys yesterday in the Cavern Club, they were great. A little expensive though I mean who has two quid these days,I got there autographs, maybe they'll be worth something someday.

  • you moron the beatles broke up in 1970

  • Haha, the fact that you said that is just awesome. You made it abundantly clear that you understand satire let alone sarcasm.

  • 0:53 jajajaja

  • SKIFFLE!

  • i know, ive never heard of them before yanno? ya say they live here in liverpool? il ave t go n check them out tonight :)

  • This was recorded on 26.1.1963. Great performance!

  • nice sense of humour.... and i do agree with you. anxious to listen to their next song.

  • lol

  • hahaha this just puts a smile on my face :) i really love it :D

  • I love that when Paul screams! :D

    wonderful song

  • awesome!!

  • agregameaeffezz

    Well said man.

  • Jimmy: four guys playing the same song at the same time: live. This is a historic recording. Try to investigate why this was made that way then on the radio, don't mess things up. And malcjow, get a life.

  • I would love to hear the origianal slow version.

  • They NEVER cease to amaze me!!

  • They look so cuddly in their matching suits, I just want to take George home and eat his cute face... Hmm Beatle, its whats for dinner

  • This was a left over from the BBC broadcasts. Never made it to CD WHY????

  • not bad to say its the beatles

  • Wow! Stephen Foster classic by the Beatles!

  • This is beautiful

  • paul really rocks when he's screaming, that's Little Richard's influence on him ;he really nails those screams, impressive.nice song,1st time i hear it,it could perfectly be in the "The Beatles live at the bbc" double disc set.i also like george's gretsch's tone on the solo.

  • Thanks for the song. I never heard about it :)

  • Beautiful Dreamer - recorded for Saturday Club - broadcast on 26 Jan 1963. Very old song written by S. Foster probably in the late 1800's. Covered by many including Al Jolson, Bing Crosby, and Chet Atkins. Covered by Licverpool groups Such as Rory Storme & the Hurricaines & Billy J. Kramer & the Dakotas.

  • Great version, pity that the quality of sound is bad.

  • Look at it in context, its half a century old nearly, it still sound good. If you want to hear dodgy recordings then check out " In Spite Of All The Danger" recorded on a reel to reel.

  • LOL they look like clones!

  • DAM!! THE BEATLES RULE!!

  • Awesome recording.

  • Great Song!

  • I always saw this as a tribute to The first ever Superstar song writer, Stephen C Foster. Who had written this some 115 years before the Beatles recording in 1963. Jeanie with the light brown hair, being another of Fosters songs, get's a mention in there also.

The guys seemed to be enjoy singing it. and it's a great piece of archive material.

    Thanks for posting it

  • I remember playing this and other Stephen Foster songs on my cheap cheesy organ in the early '70s when I was a kid. Right around the time I stole ALL my sister's Beatles albums! Good writing lives on forever!

  • I love this song !

  • Who sings the original version? I dont guess this is a rare BBC-only Lennon/McCartney composition?

  • It's an old english song but this beatle version is much changed.

  • Beautiful Dreamer was written by Stephen Foster.

  • In fact this song is originally American, but anyway - this is a very nice arrangement of this classic xD ...

  • Thanks. I've already been corrected on the song's origins several times.

Although I love the beatles, for me this is one cover by them that I don't like much.

  • They did a few I didn't care for myself, but can anyone like everything they did?

  • I'll Be On My Way is the ony BBC-only Lennon/McCartney composition

  • is very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice yeah!!!!

  • i luv the beatles... the true kings of rock n roll... im such a baby im cryin...T_T

  • A prime opportunity for you to retrieve your dick from his rotting asshole.

  • Yes..but your face is in the way.

  • Roll over Stephen Foster !

  • Brilliant nostalgia - thanks!

  • Wow, this is a great post...think about the times.

  • this is on drake and josh

  • Super recording. Quite an arrangement. I love it....

  • where did you get this?? that's awesome!

  • this is from the bbc sessions

  • i got the doublecd with bbc live butthe song aint there? where can i find this song?

  • It's actually call 'Complete BBC Sessions' it's a 10CD set.

  • Sounds very good. The song adapted well to Rock and Roll.

  • Wow! Stephen Foster and the Beatles great combo!! thanks for the posting.

  • Hehe look at their haircuts

  • I'm sure this was recorded at the bbc in 1962, it was either march or june 62.

  • then, it's one before love me do... But were they already playing at the bbc???

  • It was recorded on January 26, 1963.

  • according mark lewishon's "the complete beatles chrinicle" it was recorded on tuesday, 22 january. but it was brodcasted 0n the 26...

thanks for the post.. nice tune.

  • Yeah. Mark Lewishon right. I stand corrected.

  • Awesome recording.

  • were did u get this?

  • Paul's voice rocks on this! Go Paul.

  • i have this

  • Fantastic.

  • Can't believe this happened then & I missed it!!!!!

  • 5*****!The beattles are the BEST!!!

    Maria Sarah!

  • I'm stupid. This was recorded in early 1963 for the BBC. The other "dream" song, 'Dream Baby' was recorded in March of '62. Sorry.

  • So please clarify for newbies that Ringo is the drummer on this. Thanks!

  • @liverpoolishgirl If you watch this here on YouTube at /watch?v=I_md_z_g8sk&feature=related, you can see them sing the song, and you can see that it is not Ringo on the drums. It's Pete Best on the drums.

  • @60sMusicFan1955

no, you can't see them sing the song, in that video they sing some other guy, but the footage was tried to match to this one here.

  • OMG I WANT THIS SONG!!

  • This is awesome !! Thank you !!! Peace/Love

  • I would love to have all their radio shows.

You would be suprised at how many songs they recorded for the BBC. Hundreds of them. Their out there, but it's real hard to find them all.

  • oh please send me this song

  • the host intro is Brian Mathews (Saturday Club etc)..in those days virtually the only pop output of the bbc...thank god offshore radio came along which gave so much exposure to the Beatles (and other bands)!

  • I love the forged signatures at 00:18. You read about it - but there it is!

  • Oooh! Please send me a link to that information! Thanks!

  • Paul's voice is great, but John had that voice that you just can't copy, something about it, no-one can beat it.

  • I agree but I can't really say which one was better. I think they were both peerless. That's why when they got together it was a perfect match.

  • Where did you find this? Sweet. This is so rare. Thankyou for sharing.

  • it's on the complete bbc sessions Disc 1 (of nine).

  • I looked it up and it says they recorded it for the BBC in January 1963. The same session that produced that great, 'Keep Your Hands Off My Baby'. The only reason it was not included in the Apple issue is because they thought the sound quality was not up to par. I don't hear that at all on this though. Anyway where can I get the compleat 9 disk set?

  • you can torrent it, will take a couple days to get it all

  • I LOVE this song ^_^ I wish they would have put it on live at the BBC, Paul sounds so hot in it. I love how he goes.."That girl ain't anywhere WAH!!!!" thats SOOOO CUTEEE LOL!!!!!

  • Nice job, "jmanmoonwalk" - I've never heard this before. Thanks so much!

  • I like it jmanmoonwalk!

What guitar is that on the photo?

  • It's an Ibanez JTK2 Jet king. It's a nice looking guitar which is the main reason why I got it. But the neck I find to be a bit fat I don't have big hands so I find it a bit uncomfotable to play. Also the frets don't blend in with the neck that good so it's a bit rough, not smoothy like my Fender.

  • Leave it to the Beatles to take a really old Stephen Foster tune and make it their own. I really liked it when they covered old songs like this one, My Bonnie & Ain't She Sweet.

  • Yeah, I like it when Paul does those rocked up screams. This is such a treat.

  • Can you imagine if Paul never existed? What a musical influence he has been. Even back then you could see what style he had.

  • No I can't imagine if Paul never existed. Or John for that matter. There would be a huge void. Paul had the most amazing voice though. His range was endless. He still can reach those notes, even though his voice is a bit rougher now, he still sounds great.

  • yeah...not to mention that there are about 300 diffrent versions of Yesterday!

  • I read last night that yesterday had been covered by over 1,000 artists...not bad for something that came from from a dream.
