  • Hmpf..... Stupid galaxy, stealing the name from a candy bar.... Go make up your own name!

  • that looks like the fried egg i screwed up this morning

  • If i could make me live tousens of years I will become areonautic engeneer and will start work at better spacecraft that will be able to transport us beyond our galaxy and even far

  • Why is it flat?

  • Its called the Milky Way Galaxy because the Greeks and Latins said it looked like a Milky River.

  • You should check Spore's menu screen.

  • cool

  • Scientology propaganda

  • Yes!!! Awesome!!!

  • How come the galaxy makes such beatiful music when viewed from a few 1000 lightyears?

  • That's mountain. Duhhh!

  • These creatures are seen using high intensity nuclear cameras. NASA is capturing more and more reminiscent of distant stars to see exactly what they are. The Universe is more than what we think it is.

  • i just wanna stand in the middle of the milky way and scream: " Hello! Can anyone Hear Me!?!?!?"

  • gross

  • not a tootsie roll - m&ms

  • Why do they call suns stars? Is it to keep us from obtaining pure truth?

  • @67bandit67 what on earth are you talking about

  • i think its heaven in the center of the galaxy

  • You made it look like a solid pancake.. in reality most of it is empty space with a little bit of matter sprinkled around

  • Enticing thumbnail to get people in but terrible vid. This looks like some tryhard nerd's naff science project. From an educational point of view this is way too simplistic and almost content-free. Do not waste your data.

  • EVERYONE!

Its not a robot, note a Black Hole or a Tootsie roll,

WE ALL KNOW ITS A WAFFLE!

  • Why Ludwig. V. B ?

  • old and gay

  • dumb, so the sun why, how aboput all the other suns that are bigger. and why not show where the planets are? this is a wasted time for kids.

  • It looks like a penis is about to burst out of the middle.

  • looks line an egg... over easy

  • Look like OCTOPUS Heaven on earth,

  • I want my 15 seconds back...

  • Yahweh the creator!

  • fk! if we live in a galaxy and we see thousands of others! that means aliens! lol

  • This doesn't actually look like a 3D image... It looks like a 2D image placed on a 3D surface. In this picture the galaxy looks like a hill on the ground, lol.

  • Einstein was a great thinker but not a great mathematician. He consulted his pal M.Grossman for the maths he thought he needed. Modern computers and thinkers have easily dispelled the Einsteinian falsehoods but a dogmatic scientific community has not bothered to check the the maths for a century or more and held Einstein to be infallible. So you'll get Black holes, big bang, Higgs Bosons and all manner of fantasy on youtube and TV. This is yet another.

  • All I want to do is be able to explore the milkey way galaxy for thousands of years.

  • @umbrellabuddha my names Titan :D

  • @mstammam LOL, now were having a conversation haha:p

  • we are truly a misguided generation.....THIS is the kinda shit we ought to be talking about on the streets.. debating the chemical compounds of the lakes of Titan, talking about wtf is going to happen to voyager II as it is currently entering deep space..... not justin beiber or tootsie rolls. Imagine a day when you can go grab a few beers and have a stimulating conversation about dark matter with an intelligent, sexay woman. I guess the miniskirts will just have to do for now *sigh*

  • @umbrellaBuddha Aye, this is a misguided generation with you being one of the misguided. This is life, enjoy it and have a sense of humor. Have your conversation on the street about the chemical compounds of the lakes of Titan, but expect others to have other interests other than astronomy, also.

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST Sure, lets talk about psychology, I love that also;p Howabout language? I speak japanese as well... no? Ok... then traveling....no? *sigh* ok fine.... so..... howabout DA bulls.... hahaha why would you call me misguided, you know Im right, most people are painful to listen to

  • I feel so small. I think I got exposed to the "Total Perspective Machine"

  • what is the background sounds?

  • @TheSupersexyeyes

ever heard of that german guy who was deaf when he composed this 2 centuries ago...? any assumptions? Beet... you got it!

  • @scheroimo Beethoven i guess?!

  • Es bochornoso que en 1000 años el Hombre se mantenga aún con los conocimientos científicos de hombres que no tenían ni siquiera electricidad. El adelanto científico de los terraqueos está paralizado, démosle prioridad a la industria guerrerista.

  • There is a picture of planet Earth taken from the Pioneer 10 right at the edge at the end of our Solar System, that was the last image received from the Pioneer 10 before leaving our Solar System into the "Unknown Space".

In the picture, planet Earth looks like another Star in the Cosmos.

    How 'bout an even horizon?!.

  • I use to camp out there once.

  • its turning the wrong way ;/

  • cung dau co ne"t lam dau

  • oooo susuwett mantapp gan

  • nyan cat emerged from the middle

  • ¡Exelente!

  • theres many many many many more suns not just our own.

  • that's not even a picture of the galaxy, there are no pictures of our own galaxy, just artist renditions of what we imagine it would look like

  • @gregg3791 That is not entirely true, we do have telescopes (both deep space and infrared) that are able to gather data, thus showing us images of our own galaxy. So while many of the astronomical images that the "mass public" looks at are indeed artistic renderings, that is only because the raw data would appear unattractive to the mass population. In short, yes there are pictures of our own galaxy.

  • @gregg3791 Well duh!

  • @gregg3791 obviously.

  • @gregg3791 look on wikipedia, there are pics

  • @gregg3791 You are wrong NASA has many images of the Milky Way.

  • @bedvd01 we've never sent any form of technology outside of our galaxy, so how is that even possible?

  • @bedvd01 ehm... you could be right if Jesus Christ himself worked for NASA - if NASA existed 2000 years ago ofc -, send a 'milky way explorer' into space at lightspeed for a 1000 year journey before Judas gave him a kiss, let it take pictures of our galaxy so it could transpond them pictures back to Earth which would take another 1000 years and all this to let us see what our own galaxy looks like yep he did that all for fun ;)

  • @Cuenca20 You are correct but in your comment you never said pictures OUTSIDE our Milky Way galaxy we do have pictures of the Milky Way seen from Earth.

  • @bedvd01 My mistake was that YOU did not say anything about 'outside' our galaxy cos subconciously i was referring to the thumbnail of the vid LoL my bad

  • @gregg3791 Correction: There are no pictures of the whole milkyway galaxy, we can merely look into the night sky and take of picture; its likely that most of (if not all) the stars we are seeing will be in the milky way.

  • looks like it is spinning backwards

  • молоко в двойне вкусней если это милки вей

  • I HIGHLY doubt that that is really the sun... There are tons of stars much larger than ours, and it's impossible to pick each one out from a view like this. Plus, how would one identify the exact location of the sun in our own galaxy? Fools...

  • It's Beethoven's Fifth, you fools

  • You are all wrong. There is no black hole in the center, nor the sun. There is a tootsie roll in the center of it. I have evidence of this fact, but YouTube won't let me post a URL/web address.

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST the tootsie roll isn't in the center, it may appear so, but it's just a little off to the right.

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST your actually wrong, rumor has it thats where justin bieber lives.

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST thats funny.

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST

Um, no. There's a little robot in the middle... Why is everyone so dumb?

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST Lol.

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST why is all galxys like discks why not sphare or something els .

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST It's not YouTube, it's the government. They're restricting the truth!

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST You have evidence yes? So you have seen the center of the sun with your own eyes?

  • @PolishCatholic1

.....did you some how miss the blatant sarcasm?

  • @Haldir111 Sorry me no good Inglish^^ Me not kno what "tootsie roll"^^

  • @GDJSOUTHWEST I concur...

Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were an integrated mass, which We then split, and from water We made all living things? Will they not believe even then?(21:30)

With power did We construct Heaven. Verily, We are expanding it.(51:47)

And verily the Hour is coming, no doubt about it, and that God will resurrect those who are dead. (22:7)

  • Say: “Can any of your idols initiate creation, then revert it?” say “It is God who initiates the creation, and then reverts it. Then, how could you deviate?” (10:34)

On that day We will fold the heaven, like the folding of a book. Just as We initiated the first creation, We will revert it. This is Our promise. We will certainly fulfill it. (21:104)

When you look at the mountains, you think that they are standing still. But they are moving like clouds. Such is the artistry of God, who disposes of all things in perfect order. He is indeed fully aware of what you do. (27:88)

  • our sun is not that big or we would be toast scale it down to a faint i millionth of a pixel

  • Is this a creationist video?

  • What reason?

  • looks shit.

  • our sun is to small to be seen from outside of the galaxy.... but still good post

  • IT'S NOT A TUUMOOR!

  • and black holes form galaxies, so they are in center. is it possible have more than one black hole in one galaxy?

  • @TheTeddybear75 Our sun is not in the centre of the galaxy (in fact it's more than 25k light years away from it)

... it's just the centre of our solar system

  • Comment removed

  • black hole in center xD

  • ....pie

  • Our little solar system is only significant 2 us! 1 of 500 million just in our milkyway. Our M.way is a speck in all the universe of universes! Yet we ea. Have been given something special that we can use together to sustain life as 1 human race!!! Love ya!

  • Babyface2K, imagine any device or created contraption by all the inventors on this earth with the limited technology of the past where a wheel with teeth meet another wheel with teeth... One turns one way in order that the other would turn another. Some were smaller and some larger to increase or decrease desired drive. It exsists in ur car or ur non digital watches as examples. Our earth continually turns 1 direction spinning in the opposite direction that it travels around the Sun. Our little

  • Olmecbones, first of all, how many trillions of lightyears have U been away from the speck of earth to look back to the speck of the milkyway in Which we R a speck upon within! Our Sun would B liken to a grain of sand upon all the sands upon this speck of a rock we live upon!!! There are many entities even way beyond our milkyway that are millions of times larger than our Sun! Yes this was a digital animation! Guess it accomplished what it was designed to do!!! Make U think! Tru

  • NOT the milky way...

  • the track is made up of golden mean 1.618

  • uranus became ur anus

  • Dislike this. Because the camera illusion is making the galaxy look like it's spinning the other way around...

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry but ... i put hand ond my monitor and its bigger !

  • The central bulge is not realistic, considering the fact our Milky Way is not a normal spiral galaxy but a barred spiral galaxy.

  • [ put 'Uncharted Worlds theme' here ]

  • Yeah the music is by the group "You ate too many beans" Sounds like wind instruments.

  • The sun looks like it's the biggest star in the galaxy

  • IT looks like the sun owns the place.

  • We name all stars, including our own, but for some reason we never mention its name. We call it 'the Sun'.

It HAS a name! Our star is called Sol.

Hence, the Solar system. This vid is great though - thanks for posting.

  • We name all star, including our own, but we never mention its name. We call it 'the Sun'. It HAS a name! Our star is called Sol. Hence, the Solar system.

This vid is great tho thanks for posting.

  • nice texturing.

  • What if the Milky Way is one huge star, and we are all inside a 10000000000000 mile wide proto-star. What if when the star is complete, we will all die? What if we fire a nuke at the center of the galazy and what comes back is scrambled eggs? So many questions. All unanswered.

  • @MrRoblox721 a nuke can barely do something to this rofl you should watch sun comparison the largest star known is a star that our sun can fit 1000 times in it maybe more this shit is way bigger then the largest star we know of

  • Since when sun can be seen from the outside of Milky Way?

  • @trinsualt since he made his Video lol !

  • @trinsualt The Sun can be seen from any clear line of sight in the whole observable Universe. If you had a powerful enough telescope (or eyes) you could see the Sun from billions of light years outside our the Milky Way as long as there wasn't anything blocking your view.

  • @olmecbones Well what I really ment is why is it so big? on this picture?

I mean in reallity it would pe puny!

  • @trinsualt I see. In that case, I don't know. Just for illustrative purposes I suppose.

  • @trinsualt since we can see the others galaxies, and have found the center of ower galaxy (the black hole) and have got 10m telescope etc...

  • so huge i wonder how he locates me to answer my prayers

  • @SuperSteveX In every center of a galaxy there`s a black hole. And the thing that`s glowing is the light being sucked by the black whole.

  • @SuperSteveX In the middle there is a very dense collection of stars, and there is also likely a supermassive black hole in the middle..

  • @Mrmusicisepic @SuperSteveX My penis is in the middle.

  • @Mrmusicisepic Ah, but black holes evaporate. :) That means our galaxy is slowly coming apart.

  • I do!!!

  • but... nobody knows what the milky way looks like.

  • @Daniel39363 theres a black hole in the center. and its like a hole in the water. making the rest of the water around the hole spin and swirl. so it stands to reason that thats what our galaxy looks like.

  • @MetalMonarchy The only thing you can say for certain is that the Milky Way is a spiral galaxy. I'm just saying that this probably isn't exactly how the Milky Way looks.

  • @Daniel39363 oh yeah that i cna believe. weve never gone high enough (refrenced to the possibly flat galaxy) to get a good view of the galaxy. for all we know, it could have alot of blue in it :P

  • I believe the Milky Way is but a small part of the Ujniverse. We really have not been able to estimate the size or dominion of the Universe so far. What an amazing creation from the Supreme Creator! So little is our understanding due to the limitations of the ranges of our senses. AMAZING MIRACLE from the Creator!

  • The central bulge should probably be less pronounced.

  • sun isn`t to big?

  • RE: ... 'has passed hundreds thousand or millions light years AGO'

Light year (ly) is a measure of distance, not of time. This is the distance that the light travels in a vacuum in one Earth year, equal to just under 10 trillion kilometres.

RE: ... ' so it was no longer relevant to the present'

The Galaxy is rotated a little bit, and there is some computer correction in time.

If you can model the gravitational field of Sagittarius A* in which the Galaxy travels, you can make further corrections.

  • If you don't have any understanding about science and carbon dating and preservation on a grand scale then u will continue to believe a lie,' the lies", a tree huggers view a sinners veiw a God HATTERS view a evolutionarys view but if u have any understanding then you know this belongs to the church ,' if only u knew what that is.?

  • Wtf lol :D

    4years old. kthen nvm.

  • This film shows the image, which has passed hundreds thousands or millions of light years ago. so it was no longer relevant to the present.

because the real image for now, we have to wait hundreds thousands or millions of light years next.

  • my granddaughter thinks this is this is very funny.

  • what is the song please

  • @TheZray The song? It's called "The Sounds of Uranus".

    (Composer -- Yuait Tuminny Beenz)

  • @4thel0ve No, it's Beethovens 5th.

  • @4thel0ve LLOLOLOLOL

  • @ghislainevonwald Glad somebody got it. :D

  • @4thel0ve in the begining it sounded like Beethoven :|

  • @dakesim It is. :)

  • @4thel0ve so why you called it The sounds of Uranus?

  • @dakesim You mean mozart...

  • @MrRoblox721 No, smarty, I really mean Beethoven's 5th Symphony ;)

  • @dakesim I tihnk it sounds like Mozart's Nachtmuzak peice.

  • @MrRoblox721 You mean "Eine kleine Nachtmusik"? No, it does not sound like it. It is Beethoven.

  • Comment removed

  • @4thel0ve The sound of UR ANUS is a fart

  • @4thel0ve Wtf?! u're incredibly wrong, it's the fifth form beethoven.

  • @vachel396 please read the comment again... it was clearly a joke

  • @ImmaculateSludge I wish I could give you a thousand thumbs up for that. ;)

  • @TheZray The song is Beethoven's 5 Symphony

  • Great video.

    Watch here galaxies in HD:

    /watch?v=s5Z71MUVMk0

  • looks like a super zit

  • @xy274 it could be one of god's zits (assuming god exists that is) lol

  • FUCKMUSIC

  • Actually, isn't the Milky Way a barred spiral?

  • Fun fact:the largest star is named beetlejuice(I think)and is so large that its compared to six empire state buildings and a a golf ball.beetle juice is the 6 empire state buildings .what is the golfball for?why that is earth.that's just a little big.

  • @StripedSweaterMF ok...i was VERY astounded before i finished reading your comment because i figured the sun was the golf ball...but when you said earth, that dropped my amazement considerably. the sun is about a million times the size of earth...like a thumbnail to 10 square miles

  • @MetalMonarchy It's nice to know I made someones day lol.You can actually hear more about this and even see some amazing pictures if you watch a 5 part video on here, its called indescrible by louigi something lol just type that in and it will show up.The title says it all but alot of it is preaching and the creation of space and basically everything from a christians perspective.

  • can you create a video showing how those lightspots are moving in a spiral towards the center?

  • someone threw up?
