.Ive worked with card encoders and they tend to use 0 quite often (at least in my experience) so I figure it would be best to choose a different number to ignore lol...or add one for 0 :P
I hope someone doesn't decode that and get your card information... my guess is it's possible (given that the information is sufficient and the right information).
Neat, but really, thats a MASSIVE security issue... Put an audio recorder, and you suddenly have their CC info via sound. Recreate that on another card, and fraud is fun!
Lot's of people think there's some possible problem with Identity Theft - or maybe they are just joking. However, I haven't described which numbers are mapped to chich tones - so it's impossible to know anything about a card unless you see the card itself and work out the mappings!
Wow, very interesting video you made. haha It seems like you got a lot of comments on it. (= good job on that! Make more

Uh duh, why don't we program a mem board to jingle a tune just like a ringtone on our cellphones. Any bright ideas or anything undescovered?

Your card reader is not PCI compliant. Thanks for making the world less secure, increasing ID theft and credit card fraud. Good job.

Glad to hear that credit card thieves can actually finally tell which .. type of card you're using.
Just something to think about, I like the idea though.

Pretty cool idea I guess, but this is blatantly asking for identity theft

If I could be bothered I could figure out your credit card number, thanks to your little gadget. But I wont :)
