I remember a time were I saw Chipmunks gathering Acorns, so then I got some Acorns and layed very still on the ground, the chipmunks would sometimes come to take the acorn out of my hand. Second, birds are HELPING the horses. The flies annoy the horses, the birds are there to help. It's also called the food chain. Also on that topic, the birds are creatures with small brainds, and us humans are more advanced, we should know better.
