Unfortunately both presidential candidates are not 100% pro-life. So, when voting, I believe we have to choose the lesser of two evils. Who is that? McCain! If we vote for a third party or choose not to vote, then we are doing nothing to promote pro-life. In a sense, we are giving the vote to the greater evil.

If you actually want to reduce abortions, you may do well to note the findings in the 2008 study by Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, showing the role that economic factors have on the decision to abort, and also how addressing those factors actually reduces abortions.

So it looks like the Democratic platform of "safety nets" and opportunity, jobs, heath care and other "liberal" ideas are PROVEN effective at reducing abortions.

all you have to do is a google scholar search and you find huge amounts of research going on with stem cells. Not hard. You are looking for cures? Well that obviously shows your lack of knowledge on the subject at ALL. Embryonic stem cells are making huge advances and open the door to all types of research, to FIND cures.
