If you want to fully classify it, I'd call it a Spotty Red Bulborb. There was only one type of Spotty Bulborb in Pikmin 1, so bulborbs weren't classified by color at the time. When in reference to Pikmin 1, Red and Spotty both work, so I'd rather not get anal about it.
