@SuperTakashii jesus didnt in the bible, but Paul wrote about it in the book of romans (romans 1:25-27 you may want to read a little before 1:25 to understand more of Paul teachings) which it was the apostles job after Jesus died to spread his message. so even if they didn't write where he said it they still accounted for this sin in another book. But on a serous note there are all kinds if sexual immoral sins that everyone faces on a daily, they are tough but we can fight them,
It's so sad that this person uses terms like 'free' and 'fix'. There is nothing wrong with being gay. You do NOT have to fix it. Don't let any priest tell you different. A religion that condemns this is not a just and kind religion, and I do not believe the Lord condemns homosexuality.
sorry but if you dont believe in the condemnations of the lord then you dont believe in the bible. there are scriptures in both the old and new testament that say homosexuality is a sin. Christianity is not a religion its a relationship with our creator and redeemer. if you choose not to believe in him thats your choice but for those of us who believe know that it is a sin and on judgement day the lord will say apart from me i never knew you.
@dusystandridge5488 The bible mentions homosexuality say 2 or 3 times? Jesus never says a word about it. If it was such a sin then surely it would be mentioned more often? Surely Jesus would have something to say about it? It's far more likely to be a mistranslation than a sin. Heck, even my 80 year-old Catholic priest agrees with me.
@SuperTakashii there are several things in the bible that are only mentioned briefly but haven't you parents ever said when you were growing up "hey i shouldn't have to tell you more than once." God is our father and our maker he is brief on some matters just like our parents are but he is very clear about what he expects from us. Our god is a loving god but he is also just which means when we commit sin we are committing it against god and he will punish us if we sin against him.
@dusystandridge5488 The cases in which homosexuality are brought up are very specific. One case involved a ritualistic form of homosexuality in a letter from a disciple. Did he condemn the ritualism or the homosexuality? This is not clear. After retranslations of the Bible other meanings came through. Hebrew does not translate into English well, and guess what? In some of these retranslations homosexuality wasn't even mentioned. And you didn;t respond to my question: Why did Jesus say nothing?
