The very same result as Soviet 'Communism', which was just a military dictatorship. The issue there is the size of the group. We promote equality in marriage these days and that works. Families are somewhat communist and that works. Hunter/Gather groups rarely exceeded 50 so some form could work there and also no Monasteries. If you know and care about those you are sharing with and they are like you then communism/socialism is more effective. If the group is large, anonymous and diverse then communism/socialism becomes less effective.
