@YourFavoriteReviewer The AWD in the Escalade is pretty decent actually, AWD works when the computer sense's wheel slip and transfers power to the front axle. Basically its no different than a reg 4WD when the transfer case is engaged.

The Cadillac Escalade is the number 1 selling luxury suv in the world. Fords new engines might be as good as you say, but look how long its taken them to get to this point. And youre wrong about Ford engine being better then anything GM can produce, Last time I checked our 556 hp 6.2L supercharged V series engine is better, and should I mention the 638 hp corvette ZR1? No? Didn't think you would want me to.

I can only agree with the newest gen Cadillac, the old gen is just a Yukon with some extras. However, the new Navigator is absolutely trash, and the new Caddy is a HUGE improvement over the old one. And before anyone says otherwise, I have owned both I know!

@powerstrk250sd Actually he's right its called the Ford Boss Engine. There will be 3 verisons of it. The first putting out 385 hp (287 kW) @ 5500 rpm, 405 lb·ft (549 N·m) @ 4500 rpm. The Second 411 hp (306 kW) @ 5500 rpm, 434 lb·ft (588 N·m) @ 4500 rpm. And the third will have around 500 hp. But im not sure of the torque it produces.

@pun420: Escalade is based on the Tahoe/Yukon but its a little more than a tarted up version of one. The Navigator and Expedition have more in common than a Tahoe and Escalade. Oh, and the Ford motor is good. Im a fan of anything American. I must let you in on a little secret though: GM paid back their loan to the government. Good observation. It would prob have done better. Half the motor but twice the traction. H3 has 200 and change, and the caddy has 400 and change with the mods. It was like 10 inches of snow and 2 inches of ice on that. If I was in it I would have beat it till the tires fell off.... Its paid in full.
