The facts are clear...5000 years ago the only LIVING civilizations (something which Can't be questioned) were Greeks and the Egyptians......So the very first gods to appear where the 12 gods of Olympus for the Greeks and Osiris/Ra for the Egyptians......Of course further down the road new civilizations where created and with them new gods "appeared"....

The Catholic Church does indeed have proof that Peter was the first Pope. They have found the Necropolis in which he was buried. They found the grave with the inscription on it, and the bones of Peter, the feet missing, just as history has it. Peter was known to be buried in that location, and the original St. Peter's basilica was built on that location by Constantine in 324 AD. Peter absolutely was the first Pope.
