@killlaroo3 International Journal of Food Sciences and Nutrition "Organic food:nutritious food,or food for thought?" Reviewed studies comparing organic to conventional food diets in animals. Weight gain was greater in organically fed rats, mortality was lower at 9 weeks, and the incidence of degenerative diseases was lower.
"Organic animals aren't fed byproducts of corn ethanol production (which increases the rate of E. coli contamination). "
Just want to clear something in this statement. E coli increases due to feeding cattle corn not from feeding dried distillers grain which is the byproduct of alcohol production. E coli increase due to the large amount of starch in corn which cattle cannot digest efficiently
There will be protests throughout the U.S. on 3/26/11 to get mandatory labeling of all products containing genetically engineered/modified organisms.

I am doing a case study into whether organic food is better for you or not. so far both the NHS and FSA say that there is no difference between organic and non organic. now forgive me for being sceptical but when watching this i found it hard to believe that organic foods can reduce the risk of autism, learning disorders, diabetes cancer heart disease, allergies (what type or all in general), osteoporosis, migraines, dementia and hyperactivity.can you reference which studies showed this
It's a pleasure to be in service to you. I wish you well on your new journey. You stated RAW! As a 'yellow' flag, please understand that if you have compromised your stomach region (Mucosal barrier) and or you do not have enough enzymes and or good quality HCL production in your body (up your good salt), you may discover further challenges. I'm a big fan of consuming RAW foods (they do contain enzymes if not transported, radiated, heated above 122 degrees F, etc). I hope that makes sense, enjoy!
Many thanks for asking. I buy at Booths, (generally buy local produce), local Farmer's market in kendal and in Milnthorpe.
Bottom line I read labels (UK flag) and may also shop at ASDA, TESCOS (rarely), but choose local foods. Find a local Farmer's market near you. Most of my foods are organic, but some are not labelled as such, but are local and have not been sprayed with anything.
Create a great loving day and thank you for your message.
Buying local organic produced food is more difficult. In the US the FDA regulates and limits production methods and labeling, packaging etc. For instance, you can not buy raw milk legally in the US. This creates an oligopoly in the food industry that limits consumer choice. In the US, govt is trying to pass production method regulations on organic foods as well. This will only limit the ability for small producers to enter the market, due to increase costs, and create an organic oligopoly.
Thank you. What you describe is a truth from one point of view due to the BS (BeLIEf System) set up by the elite to protect their market share. I have done a youtube today partly on milk. You can however vote with your money (how, where to spend it) and with your feet. You can get to know your local farmers & buy/trade directly My Q is what can you do? You could set up your own food selling distribution centre by contacting local farmers! Many possibilities. You could grow your foods. Have fun
Right on. I do vote with my feet. There are no local farmers in my area that produce organic produce yet. There are some that do meats without hormones and antibiotics etc. I am looking into buying a half of a cow with the rest of my family. For veggies, I have just decided to grow my own. I am also looking into buying some small acreage to sell organic produce to local restauratuers and farmers markets. The state that I live in is overrun with Mansanto/Roundup ready food- Missouri.
That's a great start buying local and ensuring nothing like hormones and or antibiotics are injected into the animal. I'm truly delighted to hear your news about growing your own. Awesome! It is my belief that Monsanto will be shutting down once enough conscious people stop buying their poisons that are destroying people, lands, waterways and our air supply. I congratulate you on your wonderful distinctions in taking control of your health and your family. Fantastic Job, sending love MM
Many thanks will do. The challenge for many people is having a fully functional stomach/intestines and be able to process RAW VEG/FOODS. If your mucosal barrier has been compromised -leaky gut (and this will be on a SAD/BAD CRAP diet) then consuming raw may not serve. Your body will not be able to absorb, digest, assimilate them. Thank you, sending love
You're right David.... I wanted in that moment to capture some of the research done by The Organic Consumers Association. There are loads more on Dr Mercola's website and Mike Adams too. Create a great loving day, with Qi
