okay you probably knowe me by now i have benn commenting and asking questions latly....but 1 more thing about this loco you know the couplers it comes with? well i put them in but when to loco turns the coupler hits the details neer the buffers anit could knock it off do you have any soulution to this problem or would i have to remove the detail?
@Xantec - a nice idea, but it would use up a lot of track, track which I don't have. The flanges are pretty tough, and even models that are over 30 years old show only slight signs of wear. What's more, the wheels are pretty easy to replace, should I ever need to do so.
work is already underway, well - preparing the room anyway (which is more than twice the size of the conservatory). Hopefully, by Spring the baseboards will be going in.

@Starwarslegobuilder you can trim the detail down - but as far as I know that's the best way to solve the problem.

How to run in a loco? thanks =]
I only got hornby trains which don't teach me how to do so.

@hkbfkmb - haha, you're welcome

also, may be worth laying strips of track for locomotives that are not in use, rather than having them sat on the flanges

@randomkid21000 - well it's not to everyone's liking - obviously. But there's no doubt it is an excellent model, incredibly high quality.

@helloimearl1 - I find blu-tack works perfectly - and unlike tape, is easily reusable

I have had mine pulling 4 coaches and yes the headcodes light up.
