  • How do the electrified buses stay under the wires without snapping from the wires by overturning?

  • @CookiesAndGuns95 Unlike trams, trolley-buses have swiveling heads (the wheel or skate at top), which allows some maneuverability to be able to stray from directly under the wires.... but only so much, too far and they will (and do) de-wire. Also Trolley-buses usually have relatively longer poles than trams/trolleys to allow for some deviation.

  • the air is probably clean. with no cars to pollute!

  • @timosha21 Every place has a dark side and a bright side, even NK.

  • @timosha21 in their cities yeah, their outer county air is the same as ours

  • Informative and interesting video.

  • Great looking video. look at those streets...Not a car in sight.

Is it O.K to openly film out there..?

  • North Korea wasn't always the Hermit Kingdom.

This video was taken in 1992. Back then, North Korea was a normal Communist country, like, say, China or Vietnam.

Kim Il-Sung was still alive. People weren't yet starving. North Korea still had some industry going on. etc.

Things really went downhill just a couple of years later.

  • The trams look like old Czechoslovak Skodas.

  • this Tatra or not Skoda

  • @FranklyMisterShankly you can see Czech buses Karosa LC 734, Hungarian Ikarus buses, some trolleys (I dont know if they are russian or korean made), also czech trams-street cars Tatra T6.. It seems, traffic in the 90s was much stronger than these days-streets are empty ..

  • Awesome! It's really rare to see these in motion.
