To everton fans. I like everton but to say this was an everton song before celtic changed the words is ludicrous. It is one of the oldest Celtic songs ever. It was frequently sung by the Old Celtic Choir (now Jock Stein stand) who sang all of the old songs. It is two different songs: Hail Hail, the Celts are here....what the hell do we care now...was sanf in the early 1950s. Then in 1961 Glen daly recorded the Celtic song: for its a grand old team... and was sung immediately after.
