I have now lived in japan for 24 years. They disgust me with their blatant and obvious disrespect for people who are not japanese therefore they deserve no respect. The js are by and large a horrifically selfish people who completely disregard global social norms. The bane of the situation is that people blindly purchase their products. Hit them where it counts. Stop buying japanse products and then MAYBE they'll listen.

Japan didnt join the Hague Convention deal where children are to be protected by such thing. Heard on the news that they are thinking to joining the agreement finally!!

Same situation for me. I am the father of a little boy abduted in Colombia. NO HELP!!! What does someone have to do set themselfs on fire? Kill them self to get there child help?? I am in Colombia now, I have been stabbed, had two idiots come and there only help was to get in trouble with police here to drug the mother or kill her. Thats not help. I refuse to leave this place without my son...

I am very sorry this happened to Patrick, but...This is one of the many reasons why I choose to not bring back a foreign woman to the U.S. after I marry her.

Why don't you get some folks to volunteer thier time even just phone time and get a call campaign to the senator or congressman and follow up with a mail campaign. Find other fathers in your area with similiar problems or fathers that would give 30 minutes a month to your cause.Power in numbers don't give these pubic servants money..... we already pay their salaries!!!!

My(now almost 4 year old son)son was kidnapped by his mother and taken to Puerto Rico by his "mother" Sept. 6th 2007 when he was 1. I've been fighting and contacting people ever since(Obama,Oprah,MSNBC etc.)with no positive result. It was proven in court that my sons "mother" has mental issues,having 2 seperate mental hospital stays but was COMPLETELY ignored by the courts. I even found out,and showed in court that she planned it. COURTS DONT CARE ABOUT FATHERS..please contact if anyone can help

In the past 10 yrs 20,000 children have been abducted from America and brought to Japan by their Japanese mothers. I have talked to a lot of Japanese and read many Japanese articles regarding this matter, the response I got is that most Japanese think its funny, support the mothers 100% or make excuses for her behavior and are generally happy to stick it to America (basically any country apart from Japan). I'd hate to imagine the total number of children worldwide abducted and brought to Japan

My 9 year old daughter was abducted by her mother 10 days ago. They are in Mexico now. I'm devastated. Can't sleep, can't eat. My wife has been lying to me and our daughter for some time now. This is a second time she did this. Both times she has abandoned my son.
