There are differences in ideologies which is why we have parties in the first place. Afew of the ideologies do run together which is why it seems like all politicians lie/cheat/steal/etc. I do the party system needs a change though considering that the Green/Independent/Libertarian parties are under represented. What do you think we should do in place of the "two party system"? Which do you think would be more efficient and beneficial to us as a society attempting to regain its legs?
I don't think that the thought of someone wanting to take over the world is crazy but it is just a theory. I really think if we have a democracy things should just be voted on by the people without party lines. I live in Arizona (republican state) and when I talk to people we mostly all want similar things out of our government. There is nothing I feel that separates us but maybe religion and race the rest is the same.
Oh, I think its plausible. I'm sure many of the world leaders would take over the world if possible. I just don't believe they have the technology, support or resources in which to do so. But I feel you most definitely, unfortunately stuff like "religion" and "race" matter to people. They don't want to be tolerant of each other. Once people can learn to put their differences aside I think we'll all benefit from that
Our founding fathers despised Democracy! Democracy is not even in the Constitution, or any, articles, or bill of rights. A Republic for witch we stand. A Democracy is Majority Mob rules and they can vote to take away property or rights! We are a Republic Ruled by Law. That is why when on trial every one in the jury must all agree, or its a hung jury and the charges are dropped. I haven't watched the entire thing but I do know this. The marijuana question is coming up because medicinal marijuana is becoming legalized in several states so many pro-420 people think that its very possible that it will be legalized for all to use soon. As for the party thing, I think it needs a change but there are differences between the two parties.
I don't know if it is just me, BUT, does it sound like the same CRAP keeps getting repeated, by both the Republlirats and Demorats, OVER AND EVER AND OVER AGAIN? I hope I am not the only one who does not buy the crap any more. The trend line for TRUE progress in this country is DOWN. I doubt we will ever take care of really pressing problems like securing our borders or Social Security. I just see this country becoming more and more PHONY, people buy into politicians CRAP while the USA crumbles.

I haven't watched the entire thing but I do know this.
