  • wow the actors are bad

  • I just bought this today on amazon I can't wait to get it...I have braces and stuff get stuck in my teeth all the time

  • Man I tried this...I was like this ish aint gonna work $39.99 down the drain.....It works and feels great people. I could tell afterwards that it got between my teeth. And doing this was so fast compared to flossing which I really hate (do it for a few weeks and stop...plus it hurts). Try it out guys. (Yes I did have some splash over my mirror but I'll get this fixed)

  • i got one today for christmas and tried it out and it tickles

  • I just got one yesterday and so far all I've done is get water everywhere except where it's supposed to go

  • @Andreas748 haha that's true! it was so funny. but there's a right way to do it though. practice makes perfect :D

  • i have something like this. the thing is like getting hit in the mouth by rocks that feel really awesome

  • I have braces and I just bought the waterpik waterflosser, resently. Question, how many times can I use it. only once a day, or twice???

  • how often should I replace the tips?

  • 2:56 what a diva bitch!

  • I just replaced my 10 year old waterpik with the ultra model. It wasn't broken, I just wanted the quieter model with the pressure adjustment on the base instead of the handle. I had a tendency to bump the level and change the pressure while using. I can't afford a 50/50 ratio so I just add about a quarter cup of listerine to the container and it's a very refreshing feeling.

  • We have the waterpik at home and love it, very good product.

  • BTW my in-laws are in San Francisco until next Monday...

  • Hi, I bought the WP-450 in Walgreens in Miami in January but it isn't working anymore. The motor is straining to work and after 10 seconds it dies completely. I tried to charge it for 24 hours but still not luck... :( I upset it happened because I was having good use of it. The problem is I didn't keep my proof of purchase and neither I am in the USA anymore. I am in New Zealand. Is there anything you could do for me? Thank you

  • @thim60000

Were you in Miami Beach? Did you get it at the Walgreens on Collins Ave?

  • Comment removed

  • They should keep the actors out of these adverts. Maybe they would be more credible

  • Where can i buy it in Europe? How come that only water can do deep cleaning? I understand Soda, but water?

  • The WP-100 Ultra Water Flosser has a 3 year warranty. We recommend calling the Waterpik customer service team. The contact information is located in the instruction manual.

  • breaks after a month.

  • Brushing and water flossing is a perfect combination to ensure healthy gums and teeth.

  • Is it ok to use with sonic care tooth brush?

I just bought Waterpik Ultra to use with my sonic care.

  • I JUST BOUGHT ONE!!! OOO!

  • @drizelle9 did it work?

  • I will order this from amazon right now, i am excited to use it lol

  • I just ordered a Waterpik Ultra. Can more than one person use it?

  • Yes! The unit comes with 6 tips. The Classic Jet Tip and Plaque Seeker tips are for every day use by every one. Additional tips can be purchase from various online e-tailers including Water Pik. Happy Flossing!

  • can anyone tell me if you get gum bleeding because of the deeper washing with the waterpick?

  • The Waterpik Water Flosser is clinically proven to reduce bleeding and gingivitis. Often times when people begin a new, more effective self-care routine, they become aware of bleeding gums - but in most instances, the product is not the cause. However, it is always best to check with your dental professional on this; especially if the bleeding does not clear up within two weeks.

  • @WaterPikInc thanks a lot!!! :)

  • @latincuteguy83 I have periodontal disease and my gums were very unhealthy bleeding etc. I have lost bone from this disease and went years without a fix. My dentist (who I know personal) gave me a Hydrofloss which is essentially the same as the waterpic ultra. Mind you I was devoted to the health of my mouth but after my 2nd deep cleaning I brush 3 times a day, floss all the time and use the waterpic 2 times a day. My gums which bled before are truly healthy and DO NOT BLEED even set on the...

  • @latincuteguy83 highest setting of the machine. The waterpic will not make your gums bleed if they are healthy because healthy gums WILL NOT. DO NOT BLEED. I put the smallest amount of bleach in the water with the pic, per my dentist request, which helps kill all the bacteria deep down and I have seen truly AMAZING results with this. I will waterpic the rest of my life it is truly the only way to get the deepest clean and healthiest gums possible!

  • is water floss better than spinning electric brushes?

  • how much is the orthodontic one in the uk

  • 1:17 very bad

  • Hoping someone can help - we don't have a counter top in our bathroom so we're going to have to place the unit a bit away from the sink. So, how long is the cord that connects the waterpik to the main unit? We're also wondering what the width and depth dimensions are for the main unit? (height isn't really an issue). Also, we're really more interested in getting the counter top unit AND not the cordless (unless there's no other option) - so that option has already crossed our minds. Thanks

  • can i use it even if i have braces?

  • Uh, I bought the cordless one yesterday and since it has no settings, it HURTS! Why is it so powerful?? I'm making myself bleed over here!

  • @jazdj04 If you're bleeding, then you might have gingivitis. It will get better. Keep using it.

  • I own the Waterpik Ulta and its truly the greattest investment I've made for my teeth! My dentist was amazed the last time I saw him, he couldn't believe how clean and healty my mouth was!!!

  • I own a WP60W I think its called and it does not replace flossing you still need to floss but its great after you brush and floss though at removing all the junk from under the gums and between the teeth that you miss

  • now its about $50 i bought it 2day

  • I use a syringe

  • How much is this in Canada?

  • This is one of the best investments I ever made

  • They do work really well. Better than losing your teeth. Just don't point it in your eye or wear safety glasses. Like your mother said you will shoot your eye out. No joking.

  • I just got that waterpik for a present, ( haha, now you know i care about my teeth if i want one at age 12! ) The ultra waterpik, the one thats cordless, and people always say that it hurts their gums. But i even use it on the High setting, and it doesn't hurt. I got it 2 days ago, and have used it twice. Am i doing something wrong?

  • Three cheers for you! You obviously have healthy teeth and gums. Keep up the home care to maintain your smile!

  • Haha, thanks. Now i know! But one more question, just about teeth in general. I have always known that my bottom row of teeth have been a harder part to keep clean for me, so the last 2 years i have really worked at that spot. But it still seems somehow that there is a little faint yellow on that row. What is it and what do i do?

  • A detinist can help determine the reason for the coloring. There are many shade of teeth enamel. Continue to use the dental water jet to help remove plaque and clean below the gum line.

  • It may work for periodontics due to the friable gun, but I guarantee you it will not not remove mineralized plaque. For that I use ultrasonic hand pieces!

  • Another problem is many waterpik users also hope the water pik can come with an international charger, that way, if we go oversea travel, we still can keep our teeth health like we do it at home.

  • wow I want it!! Having braces on my teeth is killing me. It's even hard to brush. I hope it is available in drugstores and not so expensive. How much is it costs?

  • The Ultra is available at a variety of retailers for around $60.00. Good luck with your braces.

  • Brushing is easy but it takes much longer time than without the braces on. I have a waterpik at home, a basis one but I like it. the only problem is when I use it, water flies around all over my bathroom.

  • i bought a waterpik yesterday and already im having problems since the reservoir is leaking. i have the wp-450.

  • Would you really suggest people should get this?I went to the dentist this past saturday and he actually suggested that I don't use any sort of waterpics. He told me that he only recommended the waterpic ultra to people that have braces. Also told me that they can do more damage to my gums then any good.

  • Over 50 clincial studies support the use of the dental water jet to reduce bleeding and improve gum health.

  • I have a Cordless waterpik THE WATER SHOOTING OUT POWERFUL IS PAINFULLL!!!! Maybe im doing it wrong. and the water pick is either gentle or deep cleaning. the both come out to be painful. any advice??

  • The jet tip should be aimed at a right angle to the gum line and used between the teeth to act like floss. If bleeding and pain continues contact your dental professiona.

  • How much does one cost? A family member recomended the waterpik to me. I have braces and its such a hassle to floss in such small areas. It takes an hour to floss my teeth. I was wondering how much they cost and if they would be available at some place like shoppers drugmart?

  • The Ultra Dental Water Jet is available at various Canadian retailers, including Shoppers DrugMarket. Good luck with your braces. Using a dental water jet will ensure your teeth and gums stay clean and healthy during the treatment program.

  • looks like its 35-60 bucks depending on what you want. i saw walmart had some the other day but it was on sale or clearance not sure if they still do though...

  • You have to be aware that you dragging food out, not into the gums when shooting the water. Those supersonic tooth brushes are instant fast but still it's only brushing and my free Oral-B big handle brush works fine. But I will always start with the Ultra waterpik. This thing can remove hard water build up in the sink, it is powerful enough. They have been too careful with past lower powered models because of your misuse of a good thing. Ultra is now the best of everything, no poop

  • Oh my gosh this thing is SO much more effective. Flossing with braces is a horrible experience. This thing is a life saver!

  • Just bought a Waterpik today. I have awful gums and plaque. Hope this helps, will keep you guys posted

  • The jet tip should be glide along the gum line, pausing briefly between teeth to clean. Place the tip just next to the teeth. It takes some practice to become proficient in using the dental water jet along the tongue side of the teeth.

  • Please help, Should you touch the tip of the waterpik to the teeth? Also do you do the back of the teeth?

  • Using after every meal will ensure your teeth and gums stay health while wearing the braces. You will have a beautiful smile when the appliances are removed. Good luck!

  • And i also have a question, can I overuse the waterpik? I use it about 3 times a day, I'm obsessed. : )

  • Yeah, I have braces and this is soooo helpful. It's just sooo easy, way better than flossing. i'm a really bad flosser, my gums always bleed and swell up, haha, yeah I don't know why I just can't floss.

  • The Waterpik® dental water jet is safe to use on any setting. First time users should always start out at the lowest pressure setting then gently increase the pressure over time to at least a medium setting.

  • If you put the pressure to high, your gums start bleeding...

  • hahaha water pik?? hahaha!!

  • Clinical studies are available from Water Pik, Inc. showing dental water jets are 93% better than floss at reducing bleeding and 52% better at reducing gingivitis.

  • i have a major fear of flossing because i just hate the idea of string between my teeth. My dentist said i may be having small signs of gingivitis and now I'm a little scared. Will using the WaterPik decrease my chances of getting gingivitis? If so by how much approximately?

  • Great question! The units are for personal home use only. The cleaning action helps keep your teeth and gums healthy between regular dental appointments.

  • If the waterpik is so great, why don't any of the dental hygienists that clean my teeth use it?

  • i have one :P

    its sooooo much easier!

  • A dental water jet is wonderful addition to your total oral health care package. Clinical studies show it is an effective tool in reducing biofilm and enhancing gum tissue health.

  • I've been flossing, using an Oral-B electric toothbrush, and a Oral-B flouride mouthwash that my dentist recommend. So far I haven't had any problems with this combination. Is it still worth getting a Waterpik or is this really something that's for people who just don't floss?

  • A new study conducted by the USC School of Dentistry, showing that Waterpik dental water jets effectively remove 99.9 percent of harmful plaque biofilm from teeth.

  • does it really remove tarter

  • wouldnt the water just blast off your teeth and make a mess on your bathroom bench? lol

  • yes it does!! i use it. but it works.

  • JONGENS DIT IS KEI VIES!

  • Dental water jets should be used on the most comfortable pressure setting. The level of pressure will vary for each user, depending on the health of their gums.

  • Thank you for considering Water Pik oral care products. Water Pik's web site shows suggested retail pricing and lists retailers.

  • How much do they cost?? If someone could reply to this and let me know that would be great. Thank you!!

  • I just got one .. 2 days ago... at walgreens.... or however it is named..... at 60 bucks or so... the waterpik ultra .. NOT the cordless one...

  • I have braces and I floss every night, but it takes so long. I really want to get a waterpik!! How expensive are they?

  • just brought one exellent dental fresh feeling

  • Thank you for considering Water Pik dental water jets. Your dentist is correct in suggesting using the appliance on the lowest setting. You may also wish to use the Pik Pocket tip to gently irrigate tender areas. The Pik Pocket tip comes with the WP-100 and WP-450.

  • I love my waterpik ultra, but I often wonder is anyone out there actually using this thing on the 10th setting? I get nervous about damaging my gums on the 3rd setting.. Who would benefit from using setting 10 and for what reason?

  • I have been using Water Pik dental water jets for over 18 years. I use #10 on the pressure setting control. Joan

  • I just had 4 wisdom extractions 2 weeks ago and a friend suggested that I use a waterpik to help me remove any particles that are stuck near my wisdom teeth. I was wondering if this product is gentle enough for that purpose? I know it has different levels of pressures but from the reviews I've read, it has said that it is still hard even at low pressure. I've already asked my dentist if I could use a waterpik and they said it was fine, but to be gentle. Overall, is this product right for me?

  • Thank you for choosing Water Pik oral care products. The PikPocket tip offers the gentlest pressure. Please schedule a visit with your dental professional for an exam if the situation does not improve in a few days.

  • i just got one of these from Boots. i've just tried it in the bathroom and i'm impressed already. one thing tho - i have sensitive gums and it actually hurts because of the pressure..and i'm using the low setting.... i hope my gums will get better in time and this wont hurt as much.

  • Can I buy a water pik at a retailer or local Grocer?

    How much are they?

    The cordless jet specifically?

I'm interested in buying one because I really don't like flossing with my braces on. :/

  • I love my waterpik ultra!! I use it along with brushing and flossing, but the waterpik does not replace flossing.. Flossing helps to remove plague deep below the gumline, the waterpick helps remove bacteria between teeth and slightly below the gumline, but does not impact plague as effectively as brushing and/or flossing.. If you need an easy solution to flossing with braces, you should consider the platypus flosser, just search for it on here or google.. Goodluck!

  • I don't understand the point of using a Water Pik Ultra if you can't replace flossing with it. Since the Ultra can't do everything that flossing can, what good is it?

  • Research has proven that the water pik is much more efficient at removing plaque and debris from inside your mouth as opposed to floss, the only difference being is that floss can get in between teeth deep below the gumline a little better but only between the sides of teeth, the waterpik goes everywhere around teeth and with the ultra kit you get a pik pocket attachment that gets very deep below the gumline and gives floss a run for it's money. The waterpik just gives you one more advantage.

  • Thank you for using Water Pik oral care products.

  • makes my life 5 times better. i hate flossing and using this after meals, works great with braces. i fully recommend this to anyone who wonders if it will work for them. i was nervous about the whole idea of getting braces and the after care but this system has made everything easier. i also put a little Listerine in with the warm water, gives a nice mint taste.

  • just saying if you have braces on the waterpik is worth getting because after eating it will get all the food stuck in the braces out.

  • The dental water jet will help keep your teeth clean and gums healthy while wearing the braces. Good luck with your braces.

  • Nice video. I just got the cordless WaterPik. I am wondering if I can use it in the shower safely. ??

  • Thank you and congratulations to be an owner of the cordless dental water jet. Please refer to the instruction manual stating, do not immerse in liquid or use while bathing. Empty any liquid left in the reservoir when finished.

  • i want a waterpik! i have braces on!

  • Excellent video, just bought the Waterpik Ultra from Amazon yesterday.

  • Thank you for purchasing the dental water jet. Glad you enjoyed the video.

  • The Dental Water Jet will not flush bacteria deeper into pockets. Water Pik, Inc. has conducted numerous studies on the Dental Water Jets. Not only is it safe to use but many studies show that the Dental Water Jet reduces bacteria in pockets thus helping to improve your periodontal health.

  • How much does it cost?

  • I plan to buy it from Amazon. I have receding gum problem and want to try if it work.

  • We recommend the lowest setting for first time users and the tip at a 90 degree angle to the tooth. Gradually increase the pressure to a comfortable setting. The Water Pik is a safe and effective method to clean around and under the gum line and between teeth.

  • Is the waterpik ultra safe for gums on the highest setting? Will it cause gum reccesion with overuse?

  • i use my waterpik 4 times a day and was wondering the same thing....will it cause gums to recede because of it? Anybody know??

  • Thank you for purchasing the dental water jet and for your positive feed back.

  • Man, I just used my WaterPik for the first time today and man! i really owned my mouth haha, the thing is crazy. But yeah, it was good. I have a permanent retainer cemented to my bottom teeth and it has made them impossible to floss which results in bad breath, i think the waterpik is going to solve this! I'm so happy i found out about it. Definitely get this!

  • Make sure the reservoir is firmly seated on the unit and the jet tip is properly inserted into the handle. You may also contact Water Pik customer service @800-525-2774 for assistance in using the dental water jet. We look forward to hearing from you.

  • Let me ask you this...how come I get no pressure, it seems I could have attached a special device to the end of a garden hose and got more pressure. Is it suppose to be coming out faster than it does. It looks like it just flows out....no pressure. I'm confused.

  • Just got mine a couple of days ago and its hard to get used to working it without having water going everywhere. Its gotten less messy after each time I'ved used it. I really love it. I use it with lukewarm water and a little bit of mint mouthwash and my teeth feel cleaner.

  • Thank you for purchasing the dental water jet and sharing your comments. Another week of practice and you will be a pro at the task.

  • I just got mine today and I tried it out tonight and I LOVE IT. Just like goin to the dentist!! And who is complaing about the water goin everywhere? Mother never told you to waterpik with your mouth closed?? It feels so good to clean my teeth. I should have got this thing years ago. Makes my mouth feel 10 times better. Dont like spitting out water from cleaning your teeth, dont clean your teeth. I love water. : D

  • yeah. in this commercial the unit is not turned on. turn on the damn thing and you got water flying everywhere. its a mess. if you open your mouth, the water splashes/drips out. its still a mess. close your mouth and you have to spit every 4.5 seconds

  • When using your new dental water jet place the tip into your mouth and lean low over the sink; close your lips around the tip to prevent splashing yet allow enough room to let the water drain from your mouth into the sink. • In response to the previous comment re. no toothbrush with the product and where to by replacement accessories (comment accidentally deleted).

  • The toothbrush tip BTR-2 for the model WP-100 Ultra was just added to the accessories included with the product. There may still be product on store shelves that did not include the tip. The BTR-2 individual packaged accessory is currently on back order and will be added to our web site as soon as we have them in stock. The jet tips JTR-3 for the model WP-100 Ultra are available on our web site.

  • arg I got one, but how in the world do you use it without having the water going EVERYwhere ?
