Sounds awesome! One thing I noticed (and I could be wrong) is I think Metallica mainly downpicks, you mix it up sometimes downpick, sometimes alternate picking. It might be easier, but doesn't sound as good (crunchy) as straight-up downpicking for this kind of tune. Great playing tho!
