  • It's sad that the actual singer, Salvatore Licitra, just passed away about 1-2 months ago...he was still a young man...Beautiful song...and voice. RIP

  • Wonderful picture, I love Johnny Depp. Pity, that Salvatore sings no more.

  • David Gilmour of Pink Floyd sang a fantastic version of this check it out i highly recommend it,it was part of the meltdown concert.

  • Who is the singer?

  • Salvatore Licitra ;)

  • come si chiama il brano cantato?

  • the name of the song is "je crois entendre encore

  • thank you!!!:-))

  • you're welcome any time

  • @hakimacorabica Yes, Bizet's original is in French. For some reason Licitra, a tenor performing now, is singing for the movie in Italian (Mi par d'udire ancora) as it was often done when the opera was staged in Italy until about 50 years ago when it became common for operas to be sung in the original language. Going back to the Italian gives this version a very nostalgic, old fashioned feeling from at least the 1940-50's. But Licitra today would ordinarily sing the French onstage or in a CD.

  • amazing

  • your welcome, I hope you enjoyed

  • Thx for the video, I've been been looking for this song so much, so long!!!

    Great job, thank you! :)
