I have an 07 m53x. And I want to know if I can connect my iPod thru aux. Connection in the car like most cars have but I can't find it anywhere in the car. Do u have an idea about where it is.
@one1718 Just install my US Spec Ipod Adapter last night in my 07 M35x. Use the ipod connector to connect the Ipod. Not sure if you will have the functionality of using the selections buttons on the radio if you connect to the aux. Overall it sounds great.
On the steering wheel button on top left he didn't know about. If you hold it up or down for a second or two it changes the songs. Just a little more knowledge doesn't hurt. Thanks great video though.
@nickgmg ....yes, I just haven't updated the video but if you are on iSceneM or NICOClub I updated it there.
If you hold preset 5, it rewinds for 30 seconds. If you hold preset 6, it fast forwards 30 seconds. If you do the controls on the wheel like you mention, it changes the song forward or back.
Cool, thanks man. I've seen that adapter at Crutchfield and was wondering how well it worked. How was the install with hooking up the unit and removal of the stereo?
@WolfofLon ...are you a member on NICOClub dot com or iSceneM dot com? If so, there are instructions in the FAQ thread(s) for how to remove the radio.
If not, I suggest you sign up there (either one or both). I can't seem to post the link here.
can you change the view to list view?

@QBlow01 No you cannot. It's basically the radio screen, but reads XM (as the USA Spec mimics the XM setup).
