I am glad that there is a Catholic Priest who is against torture. I have been researching videos on the Inquisition and especially those who were translating the scriptures into English. I have met some Catholics who uphold torture and say that Tyndale and Wycliff deserved death. There is nothing wrong with desiring to read God's word in a language you can understand. These good men also are the reasons Catholics can now read the Bible in their native tongue.
