you have to shoot the points at center of the fire arcs.

this is on n64 btw, i'm not sure if it even works on 3ds.

@lithium017 Actually, the heat will take you down to no shields and thereby leave you susceptible to a one-hit kill from anything else -- there is no cheat being used. If ANYTHING will do you in more than anything else, those arches of fire will.

Not really a green cannon. To shoot like they are, you have to hold Z+R and charge your laser. By doing that you don't lock on and you can blast whatever lol.

This is a legit run. Just because he doesn't get killed by the heat from the lava, doesn't mean he used a gameshark. The heat on this level will drain your health to 0, but not kill you. Also, he's getting extra points from shooting the lava by using a trick that involves shooting certain points on the lava... he did not "cheat" at all on this video.

Do you suggest playing the game on console or on PC? Whenever I try to do the charge shot glitch, I end up locking onto targets and not getting the bonus +1s.

Also, to make it so you don't lock onto enemies..hold Z and R. When you want to lock on to enemies let go of Z and R.
