wow super imagery to a really shit lack of sensibility and bad game management! The first game was a spiritual cybernetic journey / out-of-body experience with American Indians. If you rip ANY of that out of the game you are reduced to a dumb downed juvenile dialogue (as in this trailer) (which Halflife 2 would laugh at), incredibly unlikable parochial music score, and just tedious macho posturing. There is nothing new or likeable about this, except for the exceptional BladeRunner-esque CGI.

@RonnyWho well it continues the cannon i mean the aliens are simular. but instead of fighting them on their ship you fight them on their turf...so you get to see their society rather then an invasion mothership...and instead of playing as indian man tommy you play as billy badass bounty hunter...but the overall theme of the aliens remains the same, which is evident by their heavy use of teleportation and antigrav. but we will get to see how they use it in their society. im exited for this game..

@drag00n77 Wow man great comment. Yeah i didn't really think of it in that way. Where i do agree with a lot of your points, i still don't like how the story has changed so much. I liked the idea of humans being hunted and killed and i really liked the twist ending. But this just seems like an RPG and nothing like the really great story that the other had. It just seems like Mass Effect rather then a Prey game. That is why i am slightly dissapointed.

As far as the whole alien invasion theme it will be missed, however i dont think they could bring that back seeing as how our indian freind blew up the mothership. they could attack with a new ship but that would seem like a rehash of the first games plot. im looking at things from a gameplay standpoint. prey1 had good ship gameplay so being on the alien planet opens up the possiblilties even more.

@RonnyWho yeah nice chatting im definatly more exited about this game now because our conversation led me to look at some gameplay....the dev said that their wont be a multiplayer so that they can just make the singleplayer better instead of waisting time on a multiplayer. overall it seems like its ganna be a pretty big game. it does have its differences from the first one. but the developers wanted to make a bounty hunter sci fi game, and the prey universe is a good foundation for a great story

You wake up as the only survivor of the incident and are captured immediately afterward, as evidenced in the opening.The game jumps forward to the alien planet Exodus where you are the only human and have lost your memory. You work as a bounty hunter until you apparently meet Tommy from the first game. From there, you work to recover your memory.

Ah, hmmm I guess it's interesting. I mean I liked the idea of how the last game ended. It was such an epic ending. And in this one it seems like a generic space setting with different humanoid alien types etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for sci fi, and the trailer was awesome, I just expected something a bit different than a traditional bounty hunter starwarsish sci fi thing.
