  • what's the title of the song you played at 2:06-2:44?

  • slappetyy tha guitar! Nice sounding, reminds me of santa cruz, which is GOOD.

  • You can no longer sit where you are sitting on this video, as it is not there for you any longer. I cannot say nothing.

  • Nice playing. A few microphones, a mixer, and you'll be set. Also, good demo of the BR 183 guitar too. Thanks.

  • Thanks. One of those pieces sounded like a John Fahey number.

  • Great sound and vid,thanks

  • It that a JM song you are playing at 2.06 it has been in my mind for over a year and I really need to know hahahah thx man!!!! you rock, nice guitar too!! keep it cool.

  • It's called "Why Georgia".

  • Thx man! much appreciated!

  • could someone tell me the name of the song at 2.06?? would be nice

  • Hey mate, great playing very nice! Quick question about to ebay this guitar without playing it as I live in Australia. Do you recommened the guitar?? I heard the neck is very slim and the string spacing is on the narrow side..any probs there for you? Cheers again

  • Off the subject a bit,...I was recently at the beach and everyone had matching towels, then, someone went under the dock and their they saw a rock. But it wasn't a rock, it was a rock lobster.

  • Welcome To DiLeo Land

  • Thanks for posting this, it helped me make a decision to buy a BR 183! Nice playing, like the percussive attack.

Question: what kind of pickguard do you have on there? It looks like either the Tortis OM, or perhaps the small Martin D?

  • I own two Blueridge BR180 guitars. I'm going to get a Blueridge BR 183 next. These guitars may be made in China but honestly, take it from me, they are constructed very well with good choice solid woods and they sound terriffic. Apart from that, the top-end Blueridges look damn good as well with all that abalone all around the edges. The BR 180 is an almost exact replica of the Martin D45 and they cost a fraction of what a Martin is. Even Martin guitar owners admit that the Blueridges are great.

  • My BR-183 is one of the most amazing guitars I have ever used. It's absolutely incredible guitar worth every penny.

  • putaqueopariu!!

    sonho de consumo!!

    wonderful!!

  • I want your guitars!!!!

OMG how do you afford those your so lucky!

  • Nice playing!

  • what is the second to last song that you were playing??

  • Man.... I have a blueridge BG40. I went through numerous guitars before I stumbled across a blueridge. Wish I could play one as good as you dude. You ROCK. nice guitar sweet sound.

  • hey that first piece is very cool. you got any tabs or know where i can get some

  • One year late, but hey - its "Heart of Life", by John Mayer (Is a biatch to get the strum/slap/pinch/flick lovin' goin on!) Few demo's on here for it, loads of tabs on Google and Ultimate Guitar etc. HTH.

  • That guitar sounds great but that bracelet sounds like shit hitting the top.

  • That is actually a technique of rhythm accompaniment that has been around a long time, and involves striking your fingernails against the pick guard. I'm sure an accomplished player like you all ready knew that, and you're just making a joke.

  • thats actually slapping. its when you use your thumb to strike the muted string to create a percussion rhythm. John Mayer tends to use it alot in his songs. Neon is an example. or Why Georgia

  • Great job and a beautiful guitar.

  • Hi Steevo124. The Blueridge BR 183 you are playing does sound sweet.

Just thinking of buying one myself what do you think of it. Easy action and the like.

  • reading these comments have made me realise why i hate people. to anyone who is about to talk shit.. and reads this, post a video response.. of you playing better than that. but i doubt that would ever happen.

  • haha i played the bl d40 and 60 they sounded warmer than all the collings only priced at 600 lol...and i need 4 so maybe 1 marting gcmmv 1k and 3 br guitars lol..plz stop slapping the guitar mr

  • hey i have a guitar shop, and i sell blueridges, theyre awesome guitars, i play a BR-160, and im ordering a custom one off BR-73 direct from saga, blueridge has been rated higher than martin, so they deserve some respect, we chose not to even stock martin because blueridge are better, if u wanna shop for one heres some contact info for the shop -

  • I was just up to tobermory yesterday for a bit. Passed thru Meaford. my BR 183 is on here too...

keywords: gary jake strawberry. It's plugged into a Fender acoustisonic. : )

  • that martin just sound sooo freaken good. nice job.

  • nice job

  • nice job

  • I think im in love... Wow ur a great player u wanna come play for my band?

  • you guys need to fucking take it easy, its all about fucking music, not whose better than who jesus christ, and anyone bagging on him, you probably suck fucking balls so shut the fuck up and practice other than critiquing random dudes on the net.

  • Hey dude,I dont know why everybody says you suck. They probably cant play at all and are jealous.I've been playing for 32 years(both electric and acoustic) and I've heard a whole lot worse.Dont listen to them. There's always someone better!! I also own a couple of Blueridge guitars...BR183 and a BR 160.Great guitars huh? Problem is that since I bought the 183 I never play the 160.Guess I should sell it.Anyway, keep jammin and to hell with all those negative jerks!!

  • hey steevo great job. dya know 'vultures?'

  • Not the whole thing, but I know the main riff and some of the solo.

  • you still suck

  • haha the nice thing about the internet is when you dont want to deal with people you dont, you can close the window.

In real life nasty people are nasty and dont disapear.

  • Probably not, I have a very low tolerance for nasty people, I deal with them all day long and don't need to deal with them on the internet.

  • Blueridges (with the exception of the Brazilian Rosewood Models) are not expensive guitars...

But sounds good, your getting better...I have a Blueridge for a while... I might want to add a 160 to my line up to compliment my OMJM (Now I don't lust after yours)

Anyway, can we blame your short temper on you being a cop?

  • And, eric16w, for one, the arm band is so i dont ruin my expensive guitar with my arm sweat and oooooook i suck, how many people on hear can play heart of life with such ease> beside knowa626?

  • i justed working on THOL...mines still a little bit sloppy though...no saying that its better than yours but havent seen too many other covers. nice job : )

  • Ok, no need to type in all caps, I got the point. 2nd I wasn't being rude, I accepted the ("criticism" not spelled "critisism") and am going to work on it. 3rd I didn't make any excused, I just acknowledged the fact that it was out of time and I could of done better, so it may not need work but more effort.

  • WHICH IS WHY HE SAID WORK ON THE FILL.. IF ITS NOT ON TIME.. THEN YOU NEED WORK. START TAKING CRITISISM MAN.. DONT MAKE EXCUSES EVERY TIME. ITS ANNOYING.

  • hey steevo!!!! nice to see you still try to defend yourself whenever someone tries to give you advice. you do still suck though, and you should learn how to play better before you buy such a nice guitar.....

nice armband, it looks really cool........... (lmfao)

  • Nice to see you're still talking complete shit about people without posting anything of yours yourself. Very easy for some jumped up retard to sit there and talk shit to someone, not so easy to play guitar as well as he is doing.

If you're going to give criticism, make it constructive, not just childish bullshit. Thanks.

  • Malacia...Thank you!!

  • @ericw16 Wow what a tool...his playing was fine, you sound like a really happy person...

  • Thanks everyone. I really put this up for the blueridge guitar forum, so people there can here the br 183 model. So, I ended up just playing a few intos of whatever came to mind at the time. The Why Georgia guitar fill may have been off a little... time wise, but he plays those exact notes.

  • ehhh.....alright, just wanking on a guitar. Not that its a bad thing but still wanking. Work on the Why Georgia fill

  • @JoshwaBurke I don't understand why some people feel the need to be obnoxious. Grow up and get a life. His playing is pretty good IMO. The John Fahey piece (if that is what it was) was very well played.

  • @JoshwaBurke Ha yes we all work for your approval.

  • @turoniner WOW forgot I even made that comment, seeing that I wrote it 5 years ago and I take that comment back. Sorry Steevo... Way to look through all the comments of this video and pick mine to respond to Toroniner =P

  • Ah I wish I could play like that :P

  • OH MAN!! I am jealous of everything....of you, your guitar, your guitar skills..and that you can play all those John Mayer songs!

    Beautiful!
