i went to season 2 of bb on wikipedia and they never said whether or not they found her but they said she did die. so i am guessing they either found her or they legally declared her dead. rip to those lost. hearts go out to the families

I just remembered this...the studio where they shoot BB is right near I think Burbank airport, and I seem to recall that they were all wondering why there were no planes in the air - before they told them. I do also remember that as a live feed watcher I turned off the news just to get some respite from the horror we all watched and...it was just creepy and unbearable to watch before they told them. Like witnessing people on a WHOOOLE other wavelength.

Monica at that point was the epitome of the strength of the American public facing the horrifying reality of 9/11. Keeping it together, keeping up hope, and staying strong, not losing it and breaking down like "they" would want us to. "They" didn't get the reaction out of her that they wanted. Kudos Monica!

It has to do with remembering that day from my personal experiences and watching this video where Monica is told that the building her cousin works in was hit by an airplane and then collapsed. OMG, you said this a whole year ago lol, hope you remember, the pilot(s) were dead btw... the passengers tried to take recontrol over the plane, and fly it somewhere and land... they didnt take it down on purpose...but in the struggle for the cockpit it was crashed

Living in NY at the time, just watching this clip and the sheer mention of 9/11 still brings a great sadness. I can't imagine what Monica felt like being isolated in house away from her family.
