Not sure why all the posters are over reacting. I enjoyed the video and enjoyed the summary. I like that it was high level just covering the larger religions. To the degree that it is accurate or not accurate I still enjoyed having the big picture. Good work... I can research the details of accuracy on my own at least this is a good start.

Far too many religious zealots are commenting on this video and missing the entire point. It's not about which religion came first or which one is correct, it's just illustrating the expansion of the five major world religions according to historical records, NOT according to the Vedas/Torah/Koran/etc. Yeah, the video is not perfect: it's trying to fit 5000 years of history in 2 minutes.

This video is inane and misleading....man!it would lead one to believe that the spread of religion is a simple process,just a number of colors diffusing through land masses...the cretin doesnt know once a huge chunk of India was buddhist(since Buddha preached in India and buddhism is an Indian religion). hinduism didnt started after birth of krishna..it has existed since start,hinduism is not the actual name of religion,its sanatan dharma.according to its texts it has it dating to 1.7 million bce.(vedas)

The problem I find with this time line and many other representations of the christian religion is the fact that they do not differentiate between the Roman Catholic Christians and the Protestant Christians. While I do understand not segregating every denomination, one has to admit there is a major split that constitutes the recognition of the Protestant revolution as a separate religion.
