Found a copy of this on the Gordy label a few years ago. Really liked it a lot. Thought it should have done much better on the charts (it only got into the "Bubbling Under" charts of Billboard in '63.)
G-d bless you Motown master ... Ive waited 25 years to hear this song which gave me an epiphany moment.....I shallalways remember being reacquainted with it....best regards....alan
Hello... I have a question... Was this song used in a well known movie???... Because I have no idea why I got it inside my head!!! I thought it was recorded by The Supremes... Greetings from Argentina!
My first time ever hearing this 1963 groove by The Darnells! Sounds a bit like Phil Spector, doesn't it? Do you know the recording date and the date when it was released? Thanks for the compliment on me doing "Ain't Too Proud To Beg"! Can you feature that 1966 tune?

The Supremes' version of this is terrible. Diane's awful voice is like nails down a blackboard on their version.

The Supremes also recorded this song using the same instrumental track, in 1965.
