This video is absolutely killing me! I have the same plane, and I want the same camera rig , bad !
how difficult is it to edit and convert your raw footage for the net? did you need to buy a special program or just use windows movie maker free software?
@foodstick Glad to meet another D7 flyer. I enjoyed your Max Holtzem D7 video. You are a master builder!
I use the iMovie software that comes standard with the Mac operating system on a Macbook Pro for editing. It does not have the bells and whistles of higher end software, but it is easy to use and powerful enough for my needs. I've tried Windows movie maker, but it was on a slow PC and very frustrating. I expect it will be OK on a better machine.
@FlyingMerf I was trying to understand if your field is on a high bluff? or is that valley or old quarry area? It would sure make for some interesting recovery hikes !
@foodstick The flying field is on the edge of a spillway, which runs along a shallow gorge that skirts the airfield. Many planes have met their end in the spillway. Negotiating the steep sides of the spillway with several pieces of recently disassembled aircraft is an all too familiar experience.

@bagagerat Thanks Bagagerat. The next project planned is to mount a chase camera on another plane to get a different in-flight perspective.
