  • @smokpl yea and you crash with a bicycle and die ! :))

  • @weedmastersr

In Euroncap safety tests that car gained more points than US made Ford Ranger or Jeep Grand Cherokee :) US cars are big and looks cool, but comparing to European they are primitive, dangerous and with very poor handling. That is why we don't buy that junk in Europe :)

  • Yes they are big peoplle!

  • Fiat 500 in Usa

  • 100% death if car crashed

  • @RavensECONOMICbeast yea if it crashed with a bike :)) a car would be total annihilation !

  • @RavensECONOMICbeast

Look at Euroncap site and compare crash tests results with for example Ford Explorer :) In Europe we know, how to build safe cars.

  • I've heard of micro cars, but now that's totally an extreme version of one.

  • That thing needs a small block chevy!

  • @daltonkirby you mean the small block chevy needs a 500 on it lol

  • its like driving a golf car lol

  • this is fantastic, thanks guys .... always been my favorite car :)))

  • God damn it !

    I love this car !!!!!

  • The data for which vehicle manufactures use is old. The avg height/weight is increasing & many drivers have to sacrificing safety for fuel economy. As a C&D reader, I would love if they did an investigative story specifically on the conflicting issues of design, safety, ergonomics, and the fuel economy dilemma that many more people than you think face when trying to shoe horn themselves into a vehicle that does not reasonably accommodate many drivers. PS Jared, watch your teeth when you break.

  • Awesome video…funny. I’m 6’4” and find 99% of vehicles available on the market painful to drive (including many “Full Sized” Trucks). I am not a giant as some of the kids I’ve seen in high school are much bigger than this and still growing. Vehicle manufactures try to capture...say...the 95 percentile of human stature in their design. Unfortunately, while 6’4’ is larger that average, this stature is far from unusual. Jared here is 6’7 I believe….Not a Giant by any means.

  • cute :)

  • Those guys must have put smth on their seats, the car is not that small !!!

A very cool video though ;-)

  • And when your face hits that roof in a crash, we'll all be laughing at you!

  • TOY CAR JAJAJAJA

  • OMG! I never realized how small those cars were!

  • IST FUNNY POOR GUY IN SMALL CAR FIAT 500-600=SHIT.

  • My dad looked like that when he drove our MG A.

  • Car and Driver are starting to become funny... maybe they should be the American version of Top Gear?

  • Nice car! I don't know how tall this guy is but a friend of mine is 7ft.2 and he used to do the same thing with his Citroen 2CV.

  • this would be me. hahaha

  • God he can probably fit only maybe 6bags of groceries in that car or a dozen for that matter.

  • @wow85 My uncle had one of those, sturdy cars they were. We once rode in 5 on that, and while we did feel like sardines, the car actually ran fine! :D

  • what is the music here?

  • driver is handsome hunk

  • so awesome. want one so bad.

  • if he gets in an accident, his head would be decapitated

  • so cute

  • LMAO

  • Well, this was and still is a symbol of Italy together with the lesser known Bianchina, we had three of these in our family and used to drive in it with two adults in the front and two kids in the back. The car is small but not as small as it appears in this video, it's the guy who drives it that is huge, the Fiat 500 was produced by the millions in Italy, it cost about $ 4000 to buy a decent one nowadays.

  • wow. if the car gets a flat you dont need a jack. just flip it over on its side to change the tire

  • This is PRECISELY the reason why I hate when people look at me in awe and "congradulate" me on being so tall. Heck, we're not living in stone age anymore; If I can't even fit in a car I like, what's the benefit of being tall!??!

  • @dpajc056 woman probably assume you have a giraff size penis

  • what do they get for mpg.

  • Idiots! Great!:))))

  • don't ask me how, but i've been in one with other 3 peoples, here in Italy.

The scary part was when the pilot took a hillroad barely large enough... I looked downside tru the window and I saw the void under, omfg!

(i was "sitting" in the rear seat and my legs were one thing with my body XD)

  • you wont get into an accident in this car simply because it is a head turner...

  • Reminds me of police academy and bubba smith driving.

  • LOL the sidewalk!

  • jejeje, I want one of that 500 :)

  • put him in a peel p50 foe next episode

  • heheheh nice love fiat 500 !!

    Now Poland fiat 126 p maluch !!

  • I have a 67 and I'm just as tall and i love mine

  • hahaha it looks even funnier beside the Smart lol...

  • handsome hunk

  • This is awesome. It reminds me of Mr. Bean's Mini Cooper (the Fiat 500 is smaller than the Mini).

  • haha wipers? what for?

  • bjútifulll

  • front end collision = faceless office giant

  • @soupahfast actually your face is the crumple zone hahaha

  • Fiat 500 = Engineering Ingeniousness. :D

  • @davide1975 So it's possible to fit comfortably? I'm 6'2'' as well and while I was considering one of these cars, this is the first time I got a good look at how small it really is.

  • @SomethingOtaku well i have it and i like it in fact i am mad about it, its confortable but dont wait for the same confort of another car.... show pictures after get me in facebook davide candeias

  • I'm about 6'1. Will I fit WITH the roof on?!

  • i want one

  • chick magnet ( i have )

  • How much to one of those go for?

  • @KillerRedVine

They haven't made these in about 40 years now, so they're beginning to achieve collectible status. You can generally pick up one in reasonably good condition for around $8000 US. I have one that I bought about 2 years ago and paid around $7200 for. It was in fair condition and I subsequently spend about another $2000 on bodywork, paint, and some mechanicals.

  • even if the car had airbags it wouldn't matter

  • Fiat 500= Awesome

  • 1:22 xD chill

  • Haha he would crack his nose when hard-braking

  • I wish I had on of these! They are so cute and awesome! Fiat FTW!
