Ah, I googled a bit, and found that there's already such a preset in ES2 under "12 Tutorial Settings > FM Start". Maybe you could mention that in upcoming tutorials. :-)
Excellent tip - sometimes what puts people off programming these synths is the overbearing preset they often start with. Once you strip everything back and start from scratch, it's easier to approach and learn things one by one. I found this with my Korg Radias hardware synth, and equally with the ES2 (which is quite a decent synth when you get into it)
@wib333 You have to make it yourself. Turn oscillators 2 and 3 off, turn all of the routers/vectors off and turn the filter off. You can basically copy the levels from the video, it's what I did :p

if u use the esp you can get and proper old school 808 snare. just use the white noise setting n filter it it can sound proper nice ;)
