i wish there was the posting of his stand-up joke from the canadian tv show, when his joking story was about when his wife asked JP what he would do concerning if "that" situation happened to her brother, from a tv show she was watching.. and he was told to sit on the floor and then he responded saying, "wait, my wife does not have a brother!". This guy looks heavily influenced by Russel Peters (his movements and dress are identical) and both of them were influenced a lot by Eddie Murphy since Peters material is mostly shy of ripping off Ed, this guy too. Watch the part where he talks about the oom foo foo lady and her body, it's almost directly take from Eddie Murphy's set 20 years ago. Again, the material chummy nuts, not the stage.

As much as I am on your side in defending Jean Paul, I have to say this. Russell started his comic career in '89. He celebrated his 20th 'anniversary' with a tour called "RPXX" in 2009. JP started in '95 (check his website if you think I tell a lie).

To all the haters (not you triniting): True to the friendly relationship I spoke of in my other post, JP also opened for him during the RPXX tour. Were JP a mere copycat, he wouldn't have been the opener for RP!
