This tornado just missed me by a smidge.. i live a lil to the west from the campground. im covred by trees so i didnt even know one went through till like 4:30
it hit thuro-web and it was about 100 meters away from home hardware where i was working. My mom, brother and cousin almost got sucked up and my brother lost a new friend he made at the daycamp. So sad. really shook me up.
thats also apart of duram. and my friend was crying alot that night. she was soo scared. i hope everyone is ok =[ she had to phone me at like one in the morning when the power went back on there,
My dad was installing that printing press he refers to an hour before the tornado hit. He left to go home, heard a tornado hit Durham and went back to find the building destroyed.
I live in hanover and it was a heck of a wind storm. I could definitely see a tornado coming... i wish i couldve seen it touch down and stuff though :(
