I want the soundtrack for the film A Midnight Clear which Mark Isham composed, however, it's somewhat vague but my understanding is that there was no official released soundtrack. Apparently on a special OST for the film "Eight Below" by Mark Isham there are two bonus tracks on there from A Midnight Clear. Anyhow I have this soundtrack and DVD to this film. I thought the name of the movie was simply "The Beast"?? The scores carry the movie into a realm of mysticism!!
I have the complete "score" of the movie - but the theme heard during the final chase scene isn't included.. Does anybody know wheter it has been released at all?
Don't laugh. I hate it to know too much about the movie before watching it ;))))
I remember seeing Beast in early 90'ties and loving the end titles music. For years I tried in vain to get it. I waited for the TV station to repeat the movie someday to record both the movie and the music but it never has been repeated.
Now I can finally listen to this composition as often as I want. But... there's not much music in the whole movie. Especially compared to the soundtrack of, say, Alien 3 for which Elliot Goldenthal composed 50 minutes of very intense music without much repetitions.
And in Beast it's like one simple track playing at times through the whole movie. Which is a pity.

I do not know why Mark Isham did not release The Beast Soundtrack. The movie came out in 1988 but you can't find ANYTHING of it.
