This is a great version of the song but I wish it was a little cleaner. Still a fun song and very much a great piece of 70's music. Thanks for the video.
I have to agree with all of you , This is when Bands Haarmonized without use of any effects or procsesing , I'm 48 now and miss this music so much , God how i would love to see this type of music return

Notice how everyone in the audience is actually watching and absorbing the performance? Those days are gone..I think it started with the move to a target audience of 11 to 15 year olds with Madonna and a few others...(sigh)
Great live song! Funny though, you probably had 50 white boys telling the guy at 0:40... "Sit down, you're making us look bad!" Thank god the camera panned away ;)
Love this song! My cousin loved this song and once I listened to it, I fell in love with it! I think I was about 16yrs old, My generation had the best music!
Great song and video. Something told me this was from an old Betamax recording. Great quality I have to say. 30 years later. I'm still into Beta after all of these years. What model do you have?
i remember hearing this song when my father picked me up one day. we were sitting in his car in a park. spending time, killing time. i was holding a babie he bought me. playing with the shoes on it and this song came on the radio. i thought i love this song.
It's nice to see that 147 people, including myself, like this video, showing much appreciation to the music of the past. I hear this song all the time on Sirius' station "The Bridge", but it never gets old ;)
Im 14 and its not fair that the last generation got all this good music to listen to while we get synthisizer crap and lady gaga. i guess ill just have to keep hitting the replay button....
barely a teenager when this song appeared on the airwaves... memories of a warm breeze with springtime scents wafting in my bedroom with my radio playing this song. Fond memories indeed. Thanks to the LRB for giving me such an inspirational youth with your lyrics and harmonies.
actually if y'all would use this here fancy thing we call "the internet" you might find that there are quite a few really good bands of the same caliber and musicality as LRB . you won't hear them on most radio stations... but if you turn that thing called a"dial" you might find some there as well.
At age 65, and havin to grow up with groups like this and havin to suffer the times with no gangs, guns, no disrespect toyour parents, and Gods own tranq!! This is still my favorite song of all time....................PEACE :)
Come on peeps, this is real music from the seventies! It just takes you back and you just know you aren’t imagining that your music was filled with talent, lyrics, harmonies and musicianship! It’s gone in todays music but youtube has saved all us old farts from the hell our children have to endure with that noise they listen to… LRB, Hell Yes!!!!!!!!!!!
@phantasmphan, I worked as a DJ at a Top40 AM station back in the early 1980's and I must agree that it was an amazing time musically. It just never gets old to me.
This is music... It's a damn shame where music went these days. Since when did dancing have anything to do with being a musician? So many "artists" today can't even play an instrument. Rhythm and soul? It's gone. Want proof? Watch video clips of Master P on Dancing With the Stars. He has zero rhythm or timing...
Yes your right the kids do have a tough road right now because of alot of the music they listen to now. I'm 51 and I miss the old days listening to all these great songs brings back a lot of memories.
@tamaraschnarr1 I'm 37 and still rememebr this and other songs on on a thingcalled a.m. radio. Back when bands used to harmonize and sing as a group. Or super groups as we called them
@phantasmphan Thats cool cause i'm 52 and i loved these guys and ur right everything is mechanical now u don't even have to be a "musician almost it's not about this kind of stuff today thanks
@phantasmphan A super-group means the members come from other notable bands, but I think fans of Harmony vocals would compare a similar band such as The Eagles, The Eagles Don Henley describes as being a musical "mutt" because they infuse many influences
@ArchieLovesMe i second that. not a day goes by that i don't wish that somebody invents a time machine, so I can at least experience some of the good times from the past.
and yeah, the music today is just pure trash. the kids have a tough road ahead of them.
@ArchieLovesMe i used to hate it when my sons mother played rap music in the car when my son was in it..gangsta garbage..shootings..pimps ..ho's..drugs..there isnt many rap artists that can use a musical instrument..i mean how the heck hard is it to spin a record backwards and scratch the heck out of it...crap..all it is..and not positive in any way unless you consider that teaching kids how it is growing up in the hood..real positive isnt it....more like pathetic.
@ArchieLovesMe You are so right. Couldn't agree with you more. Kids today have crap music to grow up on. No wonder classic rock radio stations are doing so well.
Thanks, LRB, for the happiness. Lady is my LRB favorite. I'm glad the singer is happily married. Brave man.
