Who cares what the book said? In the pictures of the book that's what color they are so take it or leave it. This person did an EXCELLANT job. Oh yeah, and Yeerks creep me out. STAY OUT OF MY HEAD. AND out of the Yeerk pool for 3 days so you'll die you slug scum!

Yeah. Slug-like anyways. But they're aliens and that's what they look like according to the pictures in the books. They need little flippers or whatever to swim around in the yeerk pool and all and slugs don't have that. They're just described as slugs cause they are gross and pretty much plain disgusting (in more ways than one).
