  • I LOVE BEING A TURTLE!!!!!!!!! :)

  • 8 people don't have turtle power!

  • about half way through watching this i was so drawn in that when a stupid pop up came in front of the turtles i literally yelled, "Dont Disrupt My TURTLES!!!!!!!!"

i grew up on this movie! i really appreciate the vid!

  • I have always liked....... Cowabunga!

  • And this, is a hockey stick!

  • i luv this song i putting this to my mp3

  • Awesome vid dude.

  • kids....

  • He-Man, TMNT, The Real Ghostbusters, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Batman, Super Mario Bros., and The Gargoyles were my childhood. Although for more kids comedy stuff I also liked The Muppets, Pee-Wee Herman, Ernest P. Worrel, Sesame Street, and Looney Tunes.

  • No stupid title screen, no stupid annotations, no watermarks, no links to some spam site, just a really well made music video by a turtles fan. Thanks man, this is great :) I could totally see this on MTV back in the early 90's.

  • 8 people don't have turtle power

  • @bleachmon1 I bet those 8 people are Foot Clannies.

  • Awesome movie and great movie !!!

  • lol i still have all 3 on vhs :D

  • The original Teenage Mutant Turtles are the best. All these stupid new episodes are crap and should not be allowed to air. Don't fix something that's not broken. TMNT back in the late '80s - '90s were awesome as hell.

  • For me Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-men, Batman and The Real Ghostbusters were the best shows when I was kid and luckily all 4 have aged very well.

  • @woollybully100 just from that I can guess you're about 3-4 years younger than me :P. I'd add Thundercats to that list since it was the show before TMNT became the shit :D

  • @michelrpg Well sounds like your right about the age thing because as a kid I was only vaugely aware of Thundercats but never actually watched. My two older brothers knew about and use to love it but I'm afriad it was just before my time.

  • lol

splinters slice lands on his head

  • I love this song. It is wicked

  • why does this sound different than the soundtrack version? the background sounds different here than on the soundtrack. ( i like this one better )

  • I love when he goes 'ooops' like it was an accident.

  • @homelesshannah50

It's pretty sadistic when you think about it. Casey Jones straight tried to murder Shredder.

  • Wise man say, forgiveness is divine. But never pay full price for late pizza.

  • @jaos2612

i need to find better route

  • Holy Crap i used to have this on tape back in the day. The Live action movie was very well done

  • I wonder who would play the character April if they ever remade this, hollywood remade almost everything else

  • "Death comes for us all Oruko Saki, but something much worse comes for you, for when you die, it will be... without honor".

    Splinter

  • Wonderful.

  • TURTLE POWER

  • Beautiful synchronicity. Especially on the end fight.

  • The movie of my childhood, still to this day i have a since of loving this film, the costumes were great, the story was funny and straight forward, the fighting was as good as it could get (if you think about it, it was probably hard to fight in costumes) But all in all i give this movie a five out of five, Raph is a F*cking Beast!!!

  • Brings back memories

  • :01 twin towers =(

  • So much better than the 2000s version. I still have my tapes from the 80s this movie and part three.

  • Awesome!! I love this song and movie I like this particular video too the editing was good

  • "yes friends its the new turbo ginsu...it slices, it dices and it makes french fries in three different...*splat!* whoops." my favorite scene.

  • so many memories of the opening shot. the first film i went to see at the cinema

  • the voice of shredder is uncle phill from fresh prince of bel air, the voice of leonardo is also the voice of solid snake from metal gear part one, and um.............sorry i ran out of facts, i cant beat Thesurferdude1984, he's got problems!! haha

  • @HavokOnePointZero

Cam Clarke is the voice of Leonardo in the original TMNT cartoon and LIQUID Snake in MGS. Not Solid Snake.

  • @XeroAnarian haha! ok

  • @HavokOnePointZero yea he also played the junk yard dog in the hulk hogan rock n wrestling cartoon.

  • @HavokOnePointZero

GOOD INFO THERE!! by any chance you know who sang or rapped that them song????

  • @pepecolumba "partners in kryme"

  • WHAAAT?! Shredder is Uncle Phil?!?? :O

Wow...I never would have guessed that

  • @HavokOnePointZero ... Really? i didnt know the guy from Fresh prince voiced shredder.... in the cast it said some guy named James Saito played shredder... they have one guy voice and the other play him in the movie? im confused, lol

  • @prankcallfan84 don't be, he didn't speak good enough English for the producers so they had some one do a voice over.

  • @HavokOnePointZero Uncle phil was the voice in the cartoon only

  • Heck,im 42,and still love n watch TMNT....Cowabanga dudes,lol

  • Going into thne Theatres in the 80s and 90s were the best. No big multiprex cinemas with asses in the cinema like today! was just plain fun back then and honest movie entertainment! I want back that genious scene. Today it's too commercialized! TMNT rule!

  • @shairaptor multiplex

  • 7 people dont have T-U-R-T-L-E POWER!

  • I was born in 1976 and I really enjoyed the turtles. Can't believe all you born so late can even remember this stuff.

  • this is my shit on the real i love the orignal turtles

  • This is on some serious beastie boyz tip!

  • The 90's was the best era to be a kid.

  • @stillmatic23 I can't even descibe just how many classic cartoons, music tracks n CLASSIC MOVIES came shootin' outta the 90s....makes the shit on tv these days look like complete and utter SHIIIIIT!!!!!

  • Nicely done, i love this movie. I was 8-9 years old when this came out twenty years ago. Bought the special release of the movie on dvd with commentary track and all. Love it!

  • Classic film, i'm lookin forward to the new one coming out soon

  • MINT ;D

  • Director Michael Bay is remaking a new real action Ninja Turtles movie after Transformers 3 next year!!! This is real news.... check out The Movie Blog.com for more info!!!

  • he better not with how badly he does his version of childhood favorites.

  • @edward18517 love me' or hate em' it's official man. He is going to do it no matter what. Wouldn't it be nice to see Bay calling the turtle in the red bandana Michaelangelo instead? Hahahaha

  • I like this tmnt video you have on your channel. are there 2 versions of this song by partners in kryme? it sounds different that on the tmnt soundtrack

  • Oh the 90s good times to be a kid :-)

  • me loves TMNT! XD

  • This song is the shIt! I remember when this was burning up radio and home video... Even my brother loved this one.... 10 ++++ for the video...

  • That's a really good edited video. Looks like a real professional made it. I give it a 10.

  • I was 13 when this came out, loved it ! Seems so long ago, but then again it seems like yesterday. The years just seem to fly by so quick these days.

  • Raphael fan since this movie was released. How did I get so old? I remember making nunchucks and Sais with my brother, lmao!

  • Good movie, good story, good song. And those lyrics are tight! Clever and well put together.

  • great movie

  • 1990 tmnt is a good movie despite all the mistakes 5/5 stars

  • Aaaaaaaaaiiiii!!!!!

    I had this tape FOREVER....

  • The only thing the live action movies lacked in their day was a good Bebop and Rocksteady. And yeah I know that the second movie had their own mutants but I mean a real hard core movie interpretation of Bebop and Rocksteady would have rocked ass.

  • Ok so you mean actually smart versions of Beebop, and Rocksteady rather than the nitwits that seemed like Bulk and Skull because they were made for laughs as they they would screw up.

  • A little smarter than their cartoon counterparts but still up for a couple of laughs from them. What I think their combo would have over the creatures in TMNT2 is that they would actually talk, to plot and scheme. No, "ma ma". I mean actually going up to Shredder and saying, "So, what next boss?" ect.

  • Leonardo: Awesome!

    Michaelangelo: Righteous!

    Donatello: Bossanova!

    Michaelangelo: "Bossanova?"

    Donatello: *Chevy* Nova?

  • @dragonstar95 lmao. That part always got me. "Bossanova??"

  • @liltd87 Chevy Nova?

  • @Lokanth "Excellent!"

  • Just wondering why does he say Raph is the leader? Did the music artist see the movie, or read any source material of TMNT?

  • I have always wondered this too. My theory is that he saw this movie only and no other material and was then cut loose to write the song. I could see someone making that determination solely on this movie if you had never seen any other 'Turtles' before or after. And received no outside help or summary from the production staff.

  • @Nightavenger2 he probally called him that because in this movie it feels more like raph is the leader and since this is for the movie.

  • 0:53 good disguise! LOL

  • ah brilliant plot i c

  • LET'S KICK SHELL!!!!!!

  • Leonardo was the leader in the cartoon. However Raphael gets a lot more screentime in the movie and is therefore considered the leader of the group for the purpose of the movie/song.

  • @bishyalergmail He seems more like the Wolverine of the group.

  • wait rapheal was da leader?!

  • that always bothered me about this song. the writer of the song obviously didn't know much about the series XD

  • I think so, early on. I think Leonardo sort of grew into that role because he's so noble, which leads to the clashes between him and Raph because of who the leader is supposed to be, just like the movie.

  • @Shiek927 Raphael and Leo both show qualities of a great leader, but the difference is that Leo shows humility, whereas Raphael is too hot-headed and arrogant.

  • im one of them email me

  • Cowabunga

  • That's T-U-R-T-L-E power!

  • I have two or three copies of the movie, Love this song. The orginal turtles were the best by far.

  • Awsume I still remember the day the movie came out lol

  • I love this video and this song man. Thank you!

  • cool, my first movie i went to see back in 1990

  • Comment removed

  • Man do I feel old. I was 10 when that frist movie came out. I still think it was the best one.

  • @Zancett Ha ha, ya old fossil! Nah, just kiddin'. I was more than old enough to remember when this was released.

  • @Zancett

    consider yourself lucky---i was 6---;-)

And I STILL love it to death

  • There is no news of a new TMNT movie... SORRY PEOPLE

  • I'm soooo excited for the next TMNT movie. I heard it was live action.... .sweetness

  • what? they're making another tmnt movie?

  • This song is such a guilty pleasure

  • Nice job!

  • This song totally kicks Vanilla Ice's ass. Great video!

  • this obliterates vanilla ice's '91 version.

  • What about Tatsu?

  • Good video man - mad props

  • Good god! I saw this at the cinema when I was 13 - I have no shame - this movie kicked it out of all my orifices. I'm a better person for it...I think...

  • LEonardo is the leader..don't try to change the original story with any made up reasons...facts are facts

  • God damn it, RAPHAEL ISN'T THE LEADER!! OOH! That's the only pet peeve with this song. :-P

  • so awesome!

  • Dude, I JUST watched this movie. This was a good song to end the movie with.

  • Man,that was great!

  • F*** yeah. I memorized the beginning of this song after buying the movie when it first came out. This may be my favorite song.

  • tmnt season 8 is cancled

  • TURTLE POWER, damn right!!!! you should make a TMNT 2 music video using the song awesome by ya kid k (the theme for the the second movie)

    5 STARS!!!!!

  • I have just seen this film and I didn't remember it so good.

    It's a fucking treasure.

  • cool Kawabunga!

  • *starts to tear up* Memories....beautiful, beautiful memories.....

    *dabs at eyes*

    Great Vid 5/5 stars

  • i love the turtles!

  • 25th anniversary this month :D

  • I thought Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was made in 1989.

  • best video for this song

  • memba th'woads o'ya teacha ya masta,

evil moves fast but good moves fasta!

  • Do you stand for what you believe in and find the strength to do whats right? Thats turtle power.

  • You know, this was actually a pretty decent movie. It was entertaining, fairly true to both the comic and the cartoon, and the turtle suits were great.

  • this song could only be better if will smith rapped it

  • I love TMNT and I love this song!!! I was always wanting to here it but never thought to search it on youtube, haha dumb me. But I'm happy I did because this is just an awesome video.

  • the song is good but ... the video ROCKS!

  • Hell yeah i love this video and d movie. my wife doesn't get it =( Brings back memories!!!!

  • right on

  • I'm gonna do a Drum Cover of this song in the future. CHECK ME OUT WHEN I DO IT!!!

  • This movie was so awesome. When I was a kid I got this and the NES video game after getting surgery. I was so happy ^_^

  • Hell... I love this song. The only thing that this dude got wrong was:

Raphael, he's the leader of the group/ transformed from the norm by the nuclear goop

    LEONARDO LEADS

    Donatello does machines

    RAPHAEL IS COOL BUT RUDE

    Michelangelo is a party dude

  • Actually, he means that Splinter is the leader of the group.

  • Splinter is the teacher, mentor, and father. I wouldn't really call him the "leader". Leonardo is the one who generally takes charge in whatever situation.

  • leonardo just tells them to cherge raph gives the real order

  • @XeroAnarian disagree leo does lead but,rap is the unofficial leader of the team

  • @885808326 No. U forgot PARTY!!!!!!

  • @DUCKTAPE702 I actually describing the characters, relating it to how this song says that Raphael is the leader, NOT writing the entire lyrics to the cartoon's theme song.

  • @885808326 I know. I was just kidding. Gotta love that theme song!

  • @DUCKTAPE702 Well, of course that theme is probably my favorite theme of all theme songs including "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers".

  • @885808326 leo doesn't lead rap does, hes th unofficial leader!

  • @TheSurferdude1984 This movie was released 3 years after the series was created. In the original 1987 Ninja Turtles series, which this film was based on, Leonardo was the oldest of the 4 & the most skilled fighter of the turtles which made him LEADER. Raph was the team's "bad boy" & has an aggressive nature & seldom hesitates to throw the first punch. He's an intense fighter & oftentimes delivers deadpan humor. Trust me, I've watched every episode from the 80s to early 90s. I know my characters.

  • @885808326 I know the characters just the same but tellme something ok how is leo the older one, tell me,they were all mutated at the same time, maybe seconds apart,so all we know mikey could be the oldiest or even donny. Its fiction, you can say leo is the older one thats ur opinion not fact, there are other die hard turtle fans out there including myself, that know there is no clear cut evidence that leo is the older one or not,we all have opinions, sameage, they are equal skilled intheir own right!!

  • @885808326 I agree... did anyone else notice Leo was the only turtle to get a hit on Shredder in the movie?

  • @885808326 They were created in 83 in a black and white comic, and first got attenention thru pladium games "Teenage mutant ninja turtles and other strangness" in '85. And yes Leo was the leader and first turtle created. Also shreaders original name was GRATE MAN as in a cheese greater. Another factoid is that Eastman and Laird intend the accident the created the turtles was also the accident that turned Matt Murdock into Dare Devil.

  • @885808326

I ALWAYS hated that the song had Raph as the leader.

    I was six years-old and was going--"NOOOOOO---WRRROOOONG---STUUPPPIIDD!!"

  • @885808326 dude the song is straight up sweet as hell, its awesome thats all that needs to be said no buts or ifs.Thats your opinion,u say is truth all u want, but its fiction,we can say what we want ,voice our opinions, raph is the unofficial leader of the group is my opinion, leo raph have leadership skills equally skilled physically n mentally n with thier weapons.

  • @TheSurferdude1984 That's cool... We do have a right to our own opinion. If you want Raph to be the unofficial leader, it wont make that big a difference & I suppose it's fine with me.

  • @885808326 well raph in early days, raph had bitter hatred for leo b/c he thought leo was favored more with splinter but splinter re assured him he favored all of them the same, raph takes on all the burdens, hes much more verbal with his expressions, now later yeah he calmed down accepted his role. Leo is more calm n collected maybe a coward at timesbut, raph unofficial the leader sets the tone he seizes the moment, never shows any weakness, always ready to take on anything big or small, short temper

  • Comment removed

  • If you listen to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song it's gonna say:

Splinter taught them to be ninja teens,

    Leonardo Leads, Donatello does machines

    Raphael is cool but rude,

Michelangelo is a party dude (PARTY!)

If you even check Leo's description on comicvine(dot)com it will also say:

"In the Mirage comics Leonardo is the eldest & most disciplined & skilled of his brothers an unofficial leader of the group"

Why don't you check those 2 out before replying back to me.

  • @885808326 but in all honesty leo is the most favored by splinter, now saying he assures raph he favors them equally the same i disagree with thatraph in later years calms down accepts his role but in brawls or thinking out a stragedy, hes been know to be coward when raph takes inititative with out hesistation.Mirage comics may have some insight to it but, when it comes down to it from the cartoon n movies, fictional we have our right to say who we think is the leader of the group!

  • @TheSurferdude1984 Well, yes you do have a right to your own opinion, but if you search around this comment page more than half already have their opinion that Leo is the team leader.

  • @885808326 thats just a handful people maybe 1% or single percentage, how bout the other 99% of die hard fans out there,i'm one person who thinks raph is the leader, than i'm sure there are others who agree with me!

  • @TheSurferdude1984 Wow, I've search as much as I can for proof of how raph may be the team leader & SERIOUSLY all I got was:

One of the most annoying or silliest bloopers actually comes from the soundtrack itself. In the song "Turtle Power", the lyrics say Raphael is the leader, and not Leonardo. Leonardo was always the leader in the films and everywhere else, so why the confusion?

  • @885808326 thats your opinion yeah dot.com may say that but, that doesn't make it true 100%,maybe someone working for dot.com claims to know the history of tmnt but,not all of it,its just their point of view. The song is fine how it is,no ifs or buts, bout how they coulda did this better or worded it differently or whatever, the fact is,the song was a HUGE hit regardless of what u think they got wrong,it doesn't matter, other diehard fans love it just how it is!!

  • @TheSurferdude1984 Yes, we both love this song & both have much different opinions but it would be easier if I would be given a source which I can see for proof knowing that I have given you mine; this time not just an opinion for my own belief. but you want to end this I'll understand.

  • @885808326 In the end we are all die hard fans of tmnt we have our own opinions, long live tmnt cowabunga!!!!

  • @TheSurferdude1984 Alright! well, U can give urself a pat on the back. Cowabunga dude!

  • Sickly awesome.

  • Hey y'all this is my favorite movie of all time. I have so many Nostalgic moments with this movie and this great song too. Y'all remember that Little league Baseball Pizza Hut commmercial that used to come on before the movie on the vhs? I just bought the movie on Itunes.
