A gay couple jauntily gossiping about people in the outer part of their social circle which happens to include the characters of Scooby-Doo! The dialog has a mock-theater quality. This is fresh humor.
The girl who played Velma in that Scooby Doo movie (which was God-awful, btw, except for the presence of Buffy) was seriously HAWT. Apparently though Norville Rogers ("Shaggy") is 6'8!!! DAMN, he always looked tall in the cartoon show (and skinny, which would make most people look taller), but Darth Vader tall, seriously? No wonder he looks like such a freaking scarecrow... But actually in the film he looked too proportionally-built to really be Shaggy.
@poweredxbyxhope What exactly, pray tell, are you watching? That's a pretty all-encompassing (and extremely tired) insult. There ARE clever shows if you're willing to look for them.
thats one big sandwich!

Definitely highbrow.
Here in America, revered "comedy" means people hitting each other with construction equipment.
