Usually I don't chime in on stuff like this, but as a worker at a mental health facility for forensics, I too have to occasionally secure individuals in order to keep them from hurting themselves or others. The police did a fine job in taking custody of the woman in a relatively painless fashion. She was a very ill woman, but no one is to blame here. It was simply a tragic turn of events.

Uh, the Maricopa County Attorney stated on August 21st of 2008 that none of the officers involved in the arrest would be prosecuted.

She had a blood/alcohol level of .24, three times the limit in Arizona and was on several different anti-depressants at the time of the arrest.

Hey....I have some advice for other nuts out there getting ready to fly. KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!

Some people are on pins and needles about flying. If some crazy women is acting up in an airport she needs to be arrested ASAP. I really DO NOT CARE if she had Mental Problems. If she was in such a bad Mental condition, someone from her family should have been with her....or drove her. Drop the law suite!

Someone made some bad choices. She did and her family. Try going into an airport and act strange. Have a cop and/or security officer come up to you and state to them "I'm not a terrorist..." Everyone that acts like she did should be restrained and questioned.
