@kchilds3985 "Throwing yourself everywhere" is what contemporary really is. It doesn't have to all be about the steps, it's the little things too. That's what contemporary revolves around, feeling the music and letting your body move in which ever way feels comfortable to your own body. I thought the way she danced *contemporary*  was beautiful with excellent choreography.

when i did this i was 15 and now Im 18 and i go to the college University of the Arts ! Its in Philadelphia and i have dance as my major !Im so lucky i get to follow my dream!

dont let the small moments look small-in other words give it all you've got in those spots and truly show your passion-that separates the good dancers from the amazing ones. also make sure your standing leg is turned out when prepping for a piroutte... and lastly i cant tell if its the poor camera quality but make sure your foot is connected to the knee in your turns... amazing turn sequence:)

You can feel ur passion, and that's good. From there, it's time to step up ur technique. Your choreography is a bit repetitive, and that's to be expected, seeing as how u said u've only studied modern for 4 yrs. That just takes time. Try watching ur videos without music, and u'll get a different take on ur dances. Watch ur shoulders, make sure u keep them down, that's a key point in posture, and in ur fouttes, make sure ur working leg stays parallel to the floor. Keep up the good work!!
