it's sad that this happenes at this day and age. i'm not fully aware of this trail but i think i have an understanding about the story. obviously the parents didn't want their girls to be liberated and live alone which is understandable for muslim parents and the girls wanted to be basically like most girls in that region, drinking,dating and partying.but really what did the parents expect?, if u move to a western country, your kids will be affected.
And what can be done for this to stop in these Islamic/Muslim/etc run places? Nothing....but I am glad there is a stand being taken aganist doing it here in America, Canada, and I hope many other countries will prosecute aganist those people who believe it is fine to kill off their women/kids because it's perfectly legal in their home countries. I remember at some points during my teen years, these honor killings would be in the news and my dad would be all about how right it is, if the daughter is not doing right by their parents, they deserve to be killed. And he wasnt joking! Im sure if we lived in Kenya, my sister(s) and I would be done in! This is so fucking disgusting and sick! Those women and children brought up with no rights, forced to have no thoughts and their own minds are taken away from them, dear God, Bless them.

@peggzkutie Of course. In Turkey or Arabia, these killings would be entirely legal. It's part of the religion of Islam that a father owns his own daughters and can do with them as he pleases. Any infringement on the religion of Islam is an infringement on Muslim rights.

In this case, no doubt there is some mental illness involved as well, but it is a fact that in many societies not just Islamic societies BTW women are property of either their fathers or their husbands. And as property, they can be legally disposed of should the husband or father see fit to do so. Women as human beings equal to men is a Western concept.

The head male figure in any human organization under Islam is the absolute boss and those human organizations include Muslim families like the one in the video. If those young women were told by the father to stop whoring and I use the word as he apparently used the word and they didn't, he had a right under Islamic law to kill them. That's why honor killings are legal in Muslim nations like Turkey and Jordan and all too common.
