the joker hates being caled a freak or madman in this film, which makes sense, given the fact that he believes that he knows the truth about the human species' corrupibility. if he accepted that he was a madman his theories would go out the window. This is why people are quick to label someone insane: their beliefs frighten them so it's easier to cast them out...aaaaand of course the Joker never misses the opportunity to make fun of people who believe he's insane. he's a psychopath, not insane.

The joker character did not die the actor Heath Ledger did. So if your honestly saying youd rather another real person Christian Bale to dies instead thats a really stupid and horrible thing to say condiering they are both real and Heath ledger was a drugged up loser anyways.
