I'm not sure. I just looked both of them up on Wikipedia and they didn't say anything about Canada...I guess if I were you I'd try to order the books offline or go to the biggest bookstore nearest you and look in the manga section (they should have one, I think). If you don't have any luck with that then send me a message.

Yeah. The anime was basically done as an introduction to the manga. It only covers about the first three books and it skips a lot of things, but it's still pretty good. I really like the manga a LOT better though. You should read it...actually everyone should read it lol. It's the best.
