  • Anyone who has the written lyric of this song? I'm hard of hearing and can't hear all the words he is singing. I would appreciate if anyone could put out a lyric.

  • Great! Funny, well done! Gonna link this in my regional GC forum ;)

  • OMG! This would be PERFECT for the geocaching theme song! I totally cracked when i saw geocacher's reaction to the "muggles" part (been there done that!). I'll be linking this vid all over the net! great job~!

"Which way does your GPS say?" asks my spouse...LOL!!!

This is GREAT! Thanks for posting it!

  • great video..... i agree the muggles part is the best part.. i recent did just that... had to have a pretend phone callwith my wife for nearly 10 mins waiting for muggles to leave the area, and then..... my cell phone rang... and the muggles had the WTF?? look on their faces... after another 10 min real conversation the muggles got bored and moved on which finally allowed my to make the find.

great video though had me laughing. thanks

  • My favorite part was the muggles!!!

  • Hahaha! Love it! I am going to have our caching crew do a video too!

  • This is such a cool video! Now I play this everyday!!!

  • I downloaded this song (and video!) onto my Ipod (nano 4th gen.) So now when people ask me about geocaching, I can hand them my Ipod and let them listen to the song and watch the video themselves! My daughter pointed out to me that the gal in pink has the same GPS as I do (Extex Legend). This video/song never ceases to entertain me!

  • And how many FTFs do you have? ;-)

  • Fricken hilarious and true, my Aussie cousins!

  • I can't help but feel like a huge nerd but caching is really fun. I suppose its no different from what I did in the marines- we looked for caches with the GPS too.

  • Fantastic!

I'm relatively new to this sport and am absolutely loving it.

I would anticipate this song and video to become an insider anthem to geocachers everywhere. You really ought to see if the geocaching website will post a link to this for you or at the very least post a link in their newsletter.

  • I watched this posting some time ago and I still have it running through my mind now and again while I cache! I have come back to it several times and still enjoy it. Job well done and I hope I can find your caches sometime in the future!

    Sincerely,

    MuggleN0More

  • "Be careful that you lift up your eyes, or you may walk straight into a tree or off a cliff!" It almost happened to my husband caching in Maui. I was about ready to give up caching seeing him slip down a lava slope to the edge of a small cliff. Hubby ranted and raved about how crazy geocachers were, and that moment, I had to agree with him. Turns out the wrong coordinates were on the unit! Lift up your eyes at the Maui petroglyphs cache!

  • Are you nuts? What do you think you are doing? Spoiling a cache hide? *just kidding*

Very funny idea, I nearly laughed my ass off. I'd say 5stars on GC-Vote. ;-)

  • I am helping you get your numbers up. I have viewed this video numerous times, and I am simply not getting sick of it. I am thinking of making a video like yours named "Caching in Minnesota" instead of "Walk Like a Geocacher" featuring Paul Bunyon, Babe the Blue Ox, Jessie Ventura, loons, and my dog Jack geocaching!

  • very cool!!! ought to be the official anthem! :-)

  • This song should be the official geocaching song. Mark my words, you will hear this song being played in hit movies in years to come!

  • This is where crop circles come from.

  • okay, so I was memorizing the words, thinking that these were original lyrycs, when my (younger) husband walks into the kitchen and informs me that this song is based on "Walk like an Egyptian"! Yup, I am outta touch!

  • Absolutely funny! I wish I were a Copper Coast Cacher. But I would pronounce it geo-cacher (rhymes with dasher)!

  • You have had wayy too much fun making this vid! Awesome work!

  • OMG the whistling interlude part is SO PERFECT!! i always pretend my gps is a phone when i feel like i might be muggled!

  • I've been posting this in a few geocaching forums I participate in and everyone loves it. =) Thanks for the fun video!

  • Great video & song!!

  • From me, Five stars! They should make this song offical!

  • Nice!! I can relate!! I must looks nuts walking in circles in the woods. The cell phone trick helps!!! I use it often in the urban areas.

  • This video is a great video. You all did great on the video. We won't be able to come to the copper coast to find the caches. We're from Utah and that would be a little too far. The Wasatch Front is the local mouuntain range we live by and there are lots of caches here to do.
